KUDU 3 Grill - Open Fire BBQ Grilling System, Portable Charcoal Grills

The media could not be loaded. I had Weber grills for the past 10-15 years and was happy with them all. But when I was looking for something different, something simple but effective, I founf Kudu's Youtube channel and after watching a couple of their videos, I was in love with this grill! Very sturdy, simple to setup and carry around. Flexibility of switching between wood or charcoal whenever I grill is the best. Being able to carry it with us to picnic or other functions is a huge plus.

My wife and I have used this grill a ton of times since buying it. We braai just about every weekend we can and will even meal prep chicken or vegetables for the week while we are at it. Now that I've found a place to get the larger lamb chops, we have really been utilizing this thing as much as possible.It's very sturdy but easy to take down and transport if you'd want; it is heavy though. The way the griddle and grating rotate around the pole works but the pole is getting scarred up from use. Hopefully it won't be a huge issue, so far it does work.Overall, if you are looking for an open fire grill, it works good and seems like it'll last for a long time.

There was damage to the grill when it arrived, which probably occurred during shipping. Kudu customer support immediately responded to my email and went above and beyond to resolve the issue. Don't hesitate to buy a KUDU gril - it is built like a tank and the company stands behind their product. The grill is fun to use too! Fantastc grill, fantastic customer support, and fantastic food!

I love this thing. I use oak or hickory, and it is great for open-fire cooking. Steak, burgers, etc.Only complaint is the steel grate is razor sharp. Cleaning it in the sink is actually a bit dangerous. I cut my thumb so bad I should have gotten stitches. I emailed their customer service, just a a heads-up, and never heard back from them. Otherwise, its a great cooking platform.

Charcoal grate provides for hot fire. Adjustable angle on grill and Plancha rings is awesome. Stable and easy to use. Slips apart easily for transport. Had firebowl dented from inside when shipped. Customer service is sending new bowl, advised to touch up old bowl with porcelain paint and keep it. Now I will have 2. Great folks! Great product! I used my WSM lid for ribs I did as I had not purchased dome yet.fits great. Plancha is cast iron and about 20 lbs! Love this thing!

BIG EDIT! I contacted customer service, sent a couple of pictures, and had a new base within a week! Amazing. Imma be buying all the accessories. The grill showed up dented with the ceramic flaked off next to the handles. Was doing a thing though and needed to grill so I used the bars that hold the grill and cast iron to bend it back and then grilled on it. Worked great! I love having the cast iron there to make sides. Just worried that it will rust where the ceramic came off.

I have not put it to use as yet, but the packaging was sturdy and protected the contents really well. The assembly was quite easy and I did not need to read the instructions. My only negative is that the tubes that the elevation tubes could be a bit more sturdy. I experimented by placing a 20 pound weight on the grill grate to represent a whole turkey and the deflection on the grate was significant (2 inches)I'll have more to say after I put it to use this weekend.

I like the concept but it really needs a grate under the coals to get adequate airflow other wise they tend to smolder . I don’t think it radiates heat like the old school Weber grills do
