These dowel rods were just what i was looking for to complete a bookshelf renovation project. They were a little hard to stain so I would suggest adhering them to your project and then painting or staining them. Some of them had a slightly different texture or held the stain differently, but I thought that still looked nice.

Re-did my 70’s bathroom cabinet

I love the wood grain and the material overall. I used these to decorate a bed frame and needed exactly 190 pieces. I bought two packs, but about 15–20 pieces in each pack had broken ends or splits. Also, not all of them are exactly 12 inches—some are a bit shorter, and some are a bit longer. Because of this, I had to order an extra pack to finish my project.I tried reaching out to the seller for help, but I got no response. I really wish they had refunded at least one pack since I had so many unusable pieces. I was going to leave a 3-star review, but I felt bad since the wood quality is still nice. If the seller fixes the packaging issues, this would be a solid 5-star product.
