Since my 96 year old mother with dementia and aphasia move in with us 4 years ago, I have done many hours of research to find supplements that would either improve her condition or help to reduce the progression of the dementia. BioPQQ is one of the supplements that we are using for her, and I believe that this supplement has been beneficial for her. BioPQQ, like CoQ10, is a micro-nutrient whose antioxidant capacity provides extraordinary defense against mitochondrial decay. Not only does it protect mitochondria from oxidative damage, but it also stimulates growth of fresh mitochondria. Although some of the supplements can help with cognitive decline and dementia, many of them work better when used in conjunction with other supplements. There really isn't one "miracle" supplement that can do it all. In addition to supplements, diet is also very important for general health and the reduction of cognitive decline. When my mother came to live with us, she was on 10 medications for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, water retention, etc. Within 6 months, she was off all meds and remains healthy and med-free to this point. In the time she has been here, she has experienced many improvement both physically and mentally. As for this specific supplement, it is one that I believe is of very high quality and one that I trust. Many supplements contain a lot of fillers that do nothing for you. We use a few of the Doctor's Best supplements, and I have found them to be among the highest in quality and effectiveness. UPDATE 08/23/24: As mentioned above, I gave this supplement to my mother, and I believe it was one of the supplements that helped her. We lost her 2 years ago at the age of 101 years due to dementia related pneumonia because she had problems swallowing. After we lost Mom, I stopped ordering this PQQ. Since I am now almost 78 years old, I find that I am doing more research for myself, and was reminded of this PQQ that had been beneficial for my mother to reduce the effects of aging and to increase mitochondria that is so very important to brain and body health. I have added this supplement to my regiment. At this point, I am in perfect health, taking no medications, and am mentally sharp. I addition, I am never taken for my age, and most guess me to be 20-30 years younger than I am. This was also true of my mother. At 100 years of age, most people said she looked like she was in her 70's - she had almost no wrinkles and very little grey hair. I don't give credit for all this to PQQ, but I do believe it helps in conjunction with a healthy diet and other supplements needed to help an aging body with nutrients that it has a reduced ability to supply. Excellent product. However be advised that if it comes damaged during shipping, this company will only reimburse you for a small portion of the total cost, unlike the other items in the order from other product’s vendors.

This is an excellent way to replace nutrients in older people, and help maintain good health. The pills are tiny, and that is a really nice thing; I can swallow many different pills at once. I get irritated with pills that are unnecessarily large. PQQ is important for producing energy in the body, and should be taken with Ubiquinol, CoQ10. I do like taking them separately, so I can choose a different company for each. This company's Ubiquinol is horse pill size, which is why I prefer another brand. While some oil is undoubtedly necessary, they overdo it. But please put it into a smaller bottle. There is absolutely no reason to waste the plastic, or take up that much space on my shelf. The bottle should be small enough that the pills occupy most of it. The bottle they are using comes with mostly empty space. And good on them for NOT putting magnesium stearate int he product. This is bad news for everyone, but I am particularly sensitive. Unfortunately, this company does use it in some products, so caution is advised. Among other things magnesium stearate and stearic acid inhibit absorption, so you get less than what you pay for in such a product.

I have no complaint about the product, but it seems to me that in this day and age, manufacturers are understanding that EXCESS PACKAGING is not a welcome thing. (Take a lesson from homeopathic manufacturers who use tiny bottles) REDUCE is the watchword. I don't need a 4" tall and 2" wide bottle to hold 30 miniscule caps!!! It takes up room in my cabinet unnecessarily and adds unwanted bulk to the landfills. A manufacturer who understands this signals me that they are SHARP, FORWARD THINKING, CARING, and TRUSTWORTHY.

Of all the PQQ products out there this one was recommended. I do feel more alert and my recall has improved since changing to this product from the one I was taking. This is also very cost effective compared to others.

This is an effective product and the small capsules are easy to swallow.

I took prescribed benzodiazepines for years and suffered problems with my memory and cognition ever since, and recently I've tried a number of products hoping to regain some of what I lost. Nothing I've tried has worked as well as the combination of PQQ and CoQ10. Now,some other products that I've tried have worked occasionally or temporarily--piracetam and uridine monophosphate. CDP choline worked but caused terrible insomnia and anxiety. And I've tried many other products that didn't help much, if at all. But the combination of PQQ and CoQ10 has worked well and continuously and without any side effects. Furthermore, these products have benefits beyond improvement in cognition.

Massive headache after ingesting this product. After a week i had to stop taking it. Be careful.

Je prends des cachets contre le cholestérol (statines) qui me procuraient des tendinites aux coudes et épaules. Depuis que je prends ces deux produits, fini les tendinites et retour de la pêche ! Les produits s'absorbent sans aucun soucis apparent (pour moi rien n'a changé côté digestion ou autres). Je ne peux que vous les recommander (dans d'autres pays ces produits sont systématiquement prescrits avec les statines...) Cela fait maintenant quelques années que je prends ce produit en combinaison avec : Doctor's Best, Best Ubiquinol, Avec QH Kaneka, 100 mg, 60 gélules et ce chez le vendeur iShopNutrition que j'affectionne particulièrement pour sa rapidité d'envoi et son sens commercial (ils m'envoient des messages pour savoir si j'ai bien reçu les produits !). Je peux vous dire que mes tendinites ont disparues et que mon tonus est bien plus important qu’auparavant. Je ne peux que vous recommander ces produits et ce vendeur ! PS : Ce sont des produits que j'achète et paie, il ne font pas partie du programme des testeurs d'Amazon dont je fais partie.

This supplement is good for all, esp seniors for enhancing cognitive i.e. mind function. In the west, this is taken by students for increasing retention of subject along with other things. Overall, good product which is not easily available.
