This is the first cantilever umbrella I’ve ever had and I got lucky! Construction and materials quite good. Instructions great except that the plastic dome that sits at the bottom of the pole is tricky and they don’t tell you that. The top opening of the dome is asymmetrical (as is the pole, altho it’s not readily apparent) and they have to match or the pole won’t go all the way down. I highly recommend lubricating the top/side opening (I used white grease) so that the top swivels easily. Operation is smooth and intuitive. Closing it every night or when it’s esp windy is no big deal at all. Definitely easier than my standard table umbrella bc for that one I need a stool to reach the button that tips and straightens it. For sure get the weighted base they recommend, bc while the umbrella is sturdy overall, the one it comes with probably wouldn’t support it reliably in breezy weather and over the long term.

I bought this umbrella expecting low quality because of price and honestly it blew me away. My last one broke and cost more than this one, but that one always felt cheap. This thing is sturdy, built extremely well with all parts being made of metal (not cheap plastic). And it opens, adjusts, closes so smoothly. Such a great purchase.

Product is well made and engineered correctly. Excellent canvas with ingenious sewing at corners assuring it will not droop after a year in the sun. Metal work is greatly improved over previous version that I bought 3 years ago. Good value.

This is a very nice, quality umbrella that rivals the competitors products at a fraction of their cost. The umbrella and frame is heavy duty and very well constructed. In addition, it was delivered without any damage to the packaging or product at all. You can't go wrong with this item!

I dug holes and poured concrete to mount it to keep the profile lower to the ground. Works awesome

This is a well constructed and engineered product that despite its large size and weight is easy to open, close or tilt and the 360 swivel base is a real plus. No having to move the heavy weighted base to make adjustments. The fabric is solid and good sun blocker so really makes a difference in temp under umbrella. Highly recommend this patio umbrella. Better than some at twice the price.

Love this umbrella: easy to assemble, easy to operate, attractive, and stable in a breeze. The only reason I cannot give this purchase five stars is because the item description stated that a cover was included in the box, but there was no cover. Attempts to contact the company have failed, they did not respond to my inquiry.
