I used this door hole jig on my guitar bridge to cut the saddle slot . If was the perfect fit just long enough 186 mm . It can be adjust to fit the width, the guides for the Dremel tool fit good

This jig did an amazing job at helping with hidden deep hinge cutouts. As the other reviews said do change the volts to butterfly ones, it'll make a world of difference. Once I got it on and off a couple of times I rushed right through the rest. Makes the holes extremely accurate, easy, and fast.

I bought this product with the impression it helped mill the door hing and latch. Well it does do that BUT it DOESNT do standard residential size door hinges nor the latch . So don’t do what I did and get stuck with this expensive tool that now is just a paper weight.

It does take a few minutes to get this adjusted properly and set up on your door, but once you have that initial set-up complete, you'll have a jig you can use for many hinge preps. It's quite a timesaver.I'm a professional carpenter who has hung a lot (a LOT) of doors, and this really does speed things up. Usually, I wind up making my own jig for each job, so having one ready made that I can adjust will save me a lot of time. I haven't had a chance to use it professionally yet, but in tests on an old door blank I have in the shop, it did a great job.I did take off one star because it still takes longer to set up than I think it should.
