Great toy for kids AND Fathers

Well-made, supplied with two batteries and various charging options. Bought as a Christmas present, it worked straight out of the box, and the adult recipient (and his toddler son) were very happy with it.

Works well
Purchased to replace a different remote car we got my Grandson, this one however is STILL going strong. Battery life is NOT the greatest but we managed to get a couple of spares and now he is always out in the garden with it come dry or wet (not through deep puddles though?). We have built ramps / jumps and he absolutely loves it. Considering the speed it travels and he hasn't got the hang of stopping "Before" the garden shed... I am amazed its lasting so long but to date nothing broken and it still works really well. Very happy with it :)

Did I get the dud?
Other reviews are mostly positive, which is one of the reasons I purchased this particular RC car. Bought as a gift for my 9yr old son, but when it came to use it, the car won't turn. The controller feels very cheap, with a hole in it showing the internal workings? The actual car feels very sturdy and I'm sure would have been fun, however, as we can only move it forwards or backwards, this was not happening. Pretty disappointing
