So got the perfect amount of spice

I had high hopes for these. But it's like if you had the texture of liquorice but the flavor of DABomb hot sauce. Spicy for the sake of spice but no real flavor. My advise. Scroll past the video and not break down and buy it. Not worth it.

I saw this all over my fyp and it’s definitely worth it! I do feel like it’s an acquired taste tho. I think people who are saying it tastes “terrible” are the same people who eat mostly bland foods and don’t often explore different cultural foods because this has A LOT of flavor. It definitely has a chili oil taste (which I love). Also love the texture, it kinda reminds me of a softer slim Jim lol. Not too much smell to it as well, so I was surprised it was bursting with flavor when I took my first bite haha

I wanted to try la tiao ever since I saw it on my FYP. All those videos of people eating it made me want it at once, and since I'm someone who likes trying new snacks from around the world, of course I wanted to try it. One of the bags came slightly open and I could push air out, so I threw that one out. I tried ones in the sealed bags and it was an interesting flavor. I love spicy food so that is zero issue for me, but it had this surprising meaty taste? Last I checked, la tiao is supposed to be a gluten-based snack with chili and other spices on it. I feel like if you like this snack, you love it. If you don't, you hate it. I don't feel like the bag was safely prepared, and that is an automatic one star from me. Safety above all else. Won't be buying this again sadly. tl;dr Pros: Good to try new stuff! Cons: Has a lingering taste that you cannot get out of your mouth...? Even when you brush your teeth...

They seam like they would be meaty when watching people eat them but they arnt,they taste more like beef Ramen but spicy which I liked.the smell is super bad but I can deal with it.it was packed good and carefully.they arnt the best thing but they arnt bad either. I probably won't be buying theese just because I dont like them,buy other them that their great!

Perfect level of spicy IMO. If you can handle a bag of hot cheetos, you can handle a bag of this, no problem. All four bags pretty much tasted the same but the different sizes and shapes were nice to have. Chewy texture that I have nothing to compare with, really. Yes, they are oily, but if you have seen them on social media, you know this. Overall, glad I got them.

I love spicy, so the spice level was good for me. The texture is a little different -- its a little like slightly dried out chewy noodles with chili oil and sesame seeds. The best part for me personally is that it has a bit of a laxative quality (for me anyway). Unexpected/unintended consequence -- Iʻm currently taking medication that slows down my digestive system, but if I eat one fourth to one third of a package at night, I am not constipated in the morning. Honestly, although I like it, I donʻt exactly LOVE it, but I eat it for the side effects lol.

I saw this on my fyp. Sometimes I hate the internet because it allows me to make these stupid decisions. I bought them so I couldn’t, not taste them. 🤮 I did not like them at all, the taste is not for me, and the smell is just that much worse.
