Q: what's the difference between 20WO & 20WG?

What I could discern: is that 20WG is Green and 20WO is Black is related to the color of the wire connecting the solar panel to the pump. See the specifications of each models.

I believe it's 5 watts. I will pump up to about a 40" height.

Q: Do you make a back up battery for this?

It definitely needs a battery back up. I am researching wiring one in. Any little shade shuts it off, but it works very well when the sun is out.
