Another review warned that the latches might not line up properly. This was exactly the case. I solved the problem quite quickly by repositioning just one of them. This required drilling one hole. For all that, it is still very good value and will probably outlive me. It works very well.

Great product, really easy to put together for the not so skilled DIY’er Takes the pain out of raking top soil through the lawn.

It was a little hard to put together as there were no instructions, but I figuered it out. It spreads top dressing really well keeping any twigs or debris inside to throw away later. I would recommend it to anyone for a budget top dressing spreader.

Frustratingly the two arms of the handle that connect to the barrel were the same,whereas one should be able to slot into the other. Requested the part but that has scuppered my plans to finish my garden renovation before the rains come

This item arrived last week and I put it together this morning, it came well packed and the instructions are straight forward.... The clips are fiddly to put on, but when you do do it it's not the hole you think it is to attach to drum.... Lol, the first hole works but leaves a big gap between flap and drum, you need to attach with second hole which initially looks like it will be too tight a fit but is in fact flush and tight.
