This will not stay on a shelf as very light weight and poorly balanced.When put on the edge of a shelf it falls off.Even if you use blue tack to fix onto a shelf it looks cheap and poor qualityAs it is designed to fit on the edge of a shelf it is useless.

Put this above my fire and everyone seems to bitice it, keeps the time well, and most importantly for me it's not a loud ticker, intact you can o lying here it when tv is. Well worth the money.

The clock I received for leaving working in a pub 40 years ago stopped working, I found I kept looking at the space, saw this clock and looked at the reviews, some of them were not great.Yes, it does feel light, it's made of plastic, and it's quite stable on my mantle, but I'm thinking I might get some sticky track just in case it's knocked.Yes it is a little trixy to read, but after a couple of weeks you get used to it, and it looks soo cool. I love it.
