I recently purchased the Layla Pillow, and it has been a game-changer for my sleep. I rarely ever write a review so for me to do this means a lot!!! Was starting to get lower back, shoulder (mainly on the side that I sleep on), and neck pain. Was thinking that it was due from the years of kickboxing, and sitting at a desk until I went for a massage and they worked the biggest knot out of my shoulder I felt instantly better. After that session a few nights later my shoulder and back started acting up again but this time I had noticed I was sleeping on that side again. I started doing research and noticed there are different pillows for the different positions of sleep. I did start stacking a travel pillow on top of my normal pillow (a memory foam cool temp pillow from Costco) and noticed that my mornings of aches and pains were less than what the were when I just had the one so I knew I needed a new pillow. I finally narrowed down to the Lala or the one that was about $60 more. I selected this one because I had the option to remove the filling if it's too high (5'1 petite frame) and I if I wasn't satisfied I could return it within the specified time frame. I didn't care if the cover was not removable because I would be using a pillow case on it anyways and I could handle spot cleaning and if need be I can carefully remove the filling and wash the whole thing. Also, the higher end I wasn't sure how it would feel actually laying on my back before I go to sleep just kind of skimming the last of emails, social media or whatever prior to calling it a night I wanted to have this option too. The moment I received it I was prepared to let it air out 24hrs because like others mentioned there was a chemical smell. The next evening I slapped a pillow case on it and was ready to test it out. It was a little high at first but this is what I wanted, I just needed to get used to the Layla vs. normal pillow shape memory foam pillow. First nights sleep was great! I woke up with absolutely no pain what so ever and I'm happy to say two weeks later this is still the same. Now my only somewhat "con" to this pillow, please remember I am coming from a memory foam pillow so I've been spoiled to this, but I do find I have to flip the pillow every night because the pieces of foam do shift towards the top of my head but that's to be expected since I read other experienced the same. This was the only reason I gave it 4 stars. This side sleeper loves this pillow and I'm keeping it!

I ordered one from Layla in 2019 and it was full and heavy. This one is much lighter and less full. Might be a change in design. Might be a consequence of ordering off Amazon. Still a nice pillow

I really wanted to love this pillow. After reading the marketing claims about "advanced support" and "hotel-quality loft," I decided to splurge, thinking it would be a long-term investment in my sleep. Unfortunately, it has been a massive disappointment. ​The Issues: ​Zero Structural Integrity: For a pillow at this price point, you expect some level of resilience. Instead, the second your head touches the fabric, it collapses completely. It doesn't just "contour"—it goes completely flat, leaving your neck at a strained angle against the mattress. ​Constant Re-fluffing Required: I find myself waking up multiple times a night to punch and shake the pillow back into shape. Within ten minutes, it’s a pancake again. ​Poor Value for Money: I’ve owned budget pillows from big-box stores that maintained their loft better than this "luxury" item. Paying a premium for what essentially feels like a bag of air is frustrating. ​Final Verdict: ​If you are a side sleeper or anyone who needs actual neck support, stay away. This pillow is all marketing and no substance. It looks great when you first make the bed, but for actual sleeping, it’s useless. I will be seeking a refund immediately.

La almohada tiene un relleno 'medio' no esta tan esponjosa como la sacan, pero la puedes acomodar toda en el centro para que se haga grande o expandirla para cubrir dos personas. Esta super comoda y se va amoldando a tu noche, se acomoda del cuello y cabeza conforme te vas moviendo. Al estar larga puedes girar en la cama y continuar en la almohada. Si tiene un olor medio a plastico al principio y las mega etiquetas pero eso se puede solucionar. Un excelente producto.

Expensive but worth it

The pillow does have it's weight, but despite that, it's comfortable and soft, yet firm. In my case, as I sleep mostly on the side or belly up, I didn't felt the need to remove any filling, but having the option to do so and store it in the provided bag is a good option.

Layla claims a 120 return policy, but haven't got back to me after two requests. This pillow was not nearly as good as advertised and I would like my money back.
