Great edc knife!
I recently lost my edc knife (a spyderco dragonfly 2 salt series) and was in the market for a new one. Unfortunately they don't make those anymore. I've heard great things about civivi, but never got around to buying one. After several coworkers who carry civivi knives vouched for them, I finally decided to give this brand a try. So far I am far from disappointed. They clearly have quality control down. The knife comes in a nice zippered case and razor sharp. Smooth and quick opening action. The button lock is a nice feature. Thin and lite, but sturdy. I barely remember it's clipped to my back pocket, which is deep carry btw. It gives more expensive knives a good run for the money. Definitely more bang for less of your hard earned buck. I was also recently gifted a civivi baby banter and I can't say enough good things about that one either. Needless to say, I've been made a fan of these knives.

Love This Knife!
After receiving and having to return several defective Buck folding knives, I decided to try the Qubit. The materials, fit, and finish on these knives are perfect and the blade is razor sharp and centered. The button lock action is smooth and effortless. The lack of a grippy surface on the scales is not an issue for me, as the Qubit feels great in-hand, regardless of how I hold it. Not sure that I'll ever use the bottle opener feature, but it's kind of cool to have it. Overall, a solid, well-made knife that is a versatile EDC. I also purchased the titanium clip which looks great and functions very well.

Cutty-cutty & Good Lookin
Great daily carry...came in perfect condition, built solid & raging sharpoutta the box!! Thin, slicey blade stock makes this dude super easy to getthe screaming edge back with a quickness...be careful tho...if you look atit cross-eyed, it'll cut to the bone.

Civivi Qubit (Red & Black)
(Pictured next to Sencut Serene for comparison)Easy to flick open with your thumb or middle finger, smooth pivot and nice detent. Button lock is smooth with no crunchy metal on metal feeling. Locks open with no side to side or up & down play. T8 hardware with just the 2 pocket clip screws being T6.14c28n steel, blade comes razor sharp, sits centered in the closed position, and the tip is fully housed by the scales. So if you run your finger along the edges of the scales you can't hit the tip of the blade while it's closed.Usually I disassemble my knives when I get them to clean up adjust tension or add some oil, but mine is good enough that I don't feel the need to, straight out of the box. With enough force you can cause the blade to come out with gravity but you have to really give it some strength. You won't do it on accident under normal circumstances.Compared to the Sencut Serene, I appreciate the finger choil, and the Qubits pocket clip is sunk into the scales so your pocket won't get hung up on anything, the Serenes pocket clip sits on top of the scales so it can get caught on your pocket. The Qubit is lighter than the Serene also.I have large hands about 8 1/2" from palm to middle finger tip, and a little over 4" from side to side of my palm, and I can get a nice 4 finger grip. Perfect size for an EDC not to big and not too small. You can definitely clip this on your gym shorts and almost forget it's even there. Really lightweight with the aluminum scales but still feels premium.

Great knife but slick handle
I want to love this pocket knife but I can only say I like it. The sort of pocket chef knife blade shape is great for slicing, the 14C28N stays sharp enough and is super easy to bring back the edge, the button lock holds secure, the size is just right. But that aluminum handle having almost zero texture makes it a bar of soap in the hand. If you can keep your hands dry it's not a big deal but a single drop of sweat and it gets slick. I keep meaning to take it apart and see if I can wrap a single layer of hockey stick tape around and the blade still fits but haven't bothered yet. Just shy of greatness.

The action on this knife is absolutely sublime
Great creation by Civivi. This knife is perfectly engineered and built...it's an EDC dream. It's so light, flickable and fidgety. Blade is super slicey due to it's shape, size and grind of the 14C28N steel. Size is in the Goldilocks zone...not too big but not too small either. The button lock works flawlessly with no stick and the action is so smooth and buttery. The thin aluminum scales fit my hand and pocket so comfortably. Value is off the charts as it easily compares to some of the more expensive knives in my collection. There's not much bad to say about this knife. I would get rid of the 'bottle opener' only because I don't use it and don't care for the look of it when closed. And I also wish they had some other color choices. Those are the only nitpicks I can come up with but they are far from deal breakers.I usually have duplicates of the favorite knives in my collection and this is definitely one of my favorites. However I only have one because I don't find any of the other colors attractive. I have the all black version and it is spectacular. Now if they offered a titanium colored handle with a satin blade it would quickly be my second Qubit.

Great knife, but the handle is too slick.
I’ve been carrying mine for a good while, but I’ve had to replace it.While the action is smooth, the edge comes sharp, and is overall built well,The damn thing is Terribly slippery.I’ve been carrying all different types of knives for over a decade and I’ve never Dropped a knife so much. It’s a great knife for slow tasks, but I can’t trust the thing if I’m moving quickly.
