Q: Is this made in China?

Beurer has confirmed 28/01/21 ALL of it's oximeters are made in China. Premium price and the company website saying 'German engineering' is what is fooling people. I was going to buy when I thought it was German, but now won't.

Q: This looks exactly like the contec d1 cms50d1 and the sanitas pulseoximeters. can anyone confirm if they are the same model inside as well?

Hi, I am very sorry but this is not something that i can confirm unfortunately with regards to the Contect device. As for the Sanitas this is by Beurer so I can advise that this is the same just a cheaper brand. Kind regards Beurer UK

Q: Is it suitable for child (2 years old) use?

Although there are more appropriate oximeters for children, I've tested it to my 3yr old nephew and it worked i.e. it gave a measurement. Cannot be sure of course if this affects it's measurement reliability. Hope I helped.

Q: What is the maximum age limit please?

I use it on my 88year old Mum if that helps?
