These are extremely strong magnets...which is what I wanted to organize my fridge. They can hold heavy objects and don't slide down like other magnets do. I'm so glad I got a pack of six. Very good quality for the price and I love that they rotate. I haven't had any problems with them scratching the surface, but you can avoid it by always placing the magnets on something...like a piece of paper, instead of directly on the surface, then you can just slide them off with the paper.

These are attractive colors and very strong. I purchased them to hold dish towels that family members tend to wad up by the sink. I would buy additional ones in other colors, if available. I recommend!
