brilliant little addons
This is a neat little product. I am used to hanging my drill on my toolbelt while on a ladder when needed ditto the tape measure. This gives the perfect size little hook to the back of the ladder for me to hang things as needed. The powder coating on the steel looks good, and being steel I trust it to last as long as the ladder. I did not like the idea of putting it in the side of a ladder compromising the plastic there on the sides, so I put it on the back. For most of my workflow this is better placement to reach to the center of the ladder anyway. Also like many others I did not like the included screws and instead drilled a couple of holes and used some separate bolts and washers to secure them. I am sure the screws would be fine, but bolted thru seems to be more structurally sound and in likely to be caught on anything and cracking the plastic as there is more surface area.

Nice looking carrier clip :D
I saw the tool carrier clip on Amazon and I liked the fact that I could hang some of the tools and tape measure when I’m doing some craft or hanging pictures etc. Very simple to install and use. Also it is very stable and looks like it is unbreakable.

I suggest different bolts / mounting position
Well I thought about getting these a few weeks ago and decided it wasn't worthwhile, a snapped drill bit and nasty dent / scuff on my floor had me reconsider tho...Much like a few other reviewers I decided not to use the screws that came with this, instead I marked the spots with a chalk marker and drilled 4 holes (11/64) 2 thought the plastic and 2 thought the fiberglass. And used a couple different length M4 bolts with a flat washer on the outside and locking washer on the inside of the ladder.. while the provided screws should be able to do the trick, I was leary of cracking the plastic or fiberglass on a 300$ ladder over it...Additionally I didn't mount either of them where they show them in the photos, I didn't like the idea of having a screw going thought the top of the (fixed side) of the fiberglass, while the other end would go thought the opposite side that pivots, I imagine it could probably work "kinda" but would damage the end of the ladder that was pivoting..Instead I mounted one entirely from the plastic top from the back side of the ladder for hanging my drill, I put the second one on the left side twords the top on an angle on the fiberglass itself, to put my tape measure on..While not what I did and I don't really need it anyways, I figure I'd also mention something rather handy you can use these for..If placed on the top like I did, using one or both. You could put a couple of L brackets on a piece of wood or plywood etc, and put half the L bracket thought this clip to make a shelf,. Because of how deap the clips are you would probably want to attach a piece of wood to both L brackets tho to make a tighter fit / keep your shelf level, or add an edge to the shelf so things don't roll off and throw a nail or bolt etc thought the other hole on the L bracket so it can't slip out.P.s. I wish these came in other colors but I happened to also have a blue ladder so it looks great!! You could paint them if it bothers you thought...

Not for multi-positional i.e., little giant or narrow ladders and this holder overpriced!
Obtained holder to hold stuff on ladder but couldn’t mount; it too wide for top, nor mount near center as screws interfere with inner ladder sliding through. Seller/manufacturer needs this comment on ad: “Not for multi-positional i.e., little giant or narrow ladders.” Otherwise people needlessly buy/return item!

It's a THIRD HAND!
I'm a contractor/business owner and I still do a lot of the work we put out. I have something similar to this item that attaches to my belt/tool belt, so when I saw these I knew I NEEDED to order them. These fit standard A frame ladders perfectly, as pictured in the product marketing photos and the only reason I don't have pictures of them attached is because I don't like the screws they come with and I'll be using some #8 x 32 machine screws with threadlocker and NUTS on the back to install mine when I get to the shop in the morning. These are plenty thick enough to take your average job site abuse without being destroyed easily and the coating seems durable enough but I would fully expect it to wear with use, which I am TOTALLY OK with.I find myself, often, on the ladder just wishing for a THIRD HAND, more room, having a spot to hang my impact and drill from, that's right in front of me and not on my person to make the work go faster, I have been bending over and using the a folding frame support bar on the ladder for years to hang my battery tools from and I am so happy to now have these so my tooling is right at the level I am working and right in front of me so I can grab them, use it and drop it back on the hook and not have to fish around on my belt or bend over to use the folding support bar way down the ladder. It’s going to be nice to shove other things like pliers handles and screwdrivers in it when a drill/impact isn’t hanging from it too!If you have a drill, impact, nailer or anything else with you, on top of a ladder, often.....then I highly suggest these clips! They are going to make my life much easier! The only downside I see, other than my personal preference on the screws, is that now I'm going to have to spend more money to put these on all my ladders and we have a lot of ladders! This is one of those things that you wish for every time you are on a ladder for years and then one day, while you're scrolling the internet you find them and you can't get the order placed fast enough. Yup, these are a winning and I wholeheartedly recommend them to you if you have the need. They will make life easier for you when atop a ladder! Perfect for trades people, technicians, install people etc. These are awesome!
