I've become a definite fan of the JJ Care brand. I'm a paraplegic who also currently has bladder cancer. Because I'm going through regular cystoscopies, I find myself regularly using foley catheters. These can be very awkward to drag around or use in the work setting. So, I try to use leg bags whenever possible.That's what this is. It's a urinary leg bag for someone wearing a catheter. The bag is made of vinyl which decreases any resulting odor. I'm allergic to latex and was pleased to see that this is latex free. This is durable and it's also disposable.The leg bag has a 1,000 ml capacity for urine with an anti-reflex valve. These are designed for single use - this means, for example, that when I use it with a foley once that usage is done it should be disposed of rather than re-used or re-sterilized.Urinary output is easily measured with clear markings. There's an 18" drainage tube and a non-woven flocking backing that is more comfortable than some leg bags I've used.While I hope you never have to wear a catheter, if you do this is a good option for a leg bag at a fair price. I would definitely recommend it for those who need it. I've been able to use it fairly discreetly after a recent cystoscopy and I was able to go to work without it being too obvious.I should note that each box contains three bags. That makes this an incredibly solid value for those on a budget. This is another great option from JJ Care.

The emptying spout is not as good as the flip spout available on some bags. I had a blood clot get stuck in the valve and caused the spout to leak. At least this bags comes with tubing that allows the user to have the bag hang lower on their leg.

This collection bag is very well designed and can be used with both Foley and intermittent catheters to collect up to 1000ml of urine at night, when bedridden, or when a toilet or drain facilities are unavailable like when traveling. The vinyl is comfortable and leak and odor free, and the leg straps are comfortable and secure. The anti-reflux valve keeps everything in the bag no matter if standing, seated, or on the move, and the large clear volume markings make it easy to know how much you've voided and when it's time to drain. The bag lays flat and has a sleek oval shape which hides well under clothes. The drain tube can be conveniently aimed into the toilet or collection cup before opening which eliminates drips and splashes when emptying the bag. Huge upgrade from standard catheter bags.

Disappointed to have been led to believe this would work with the contraption I needed to wear for months.Couldn’t return it understandably.The connection I needed just wasn’t the right size I thought it was .

I am an elderly person who has difficulty holding my urine. There are times I MUST find a toilet immediately. With this product i am able to have more freedom and travel without embarrassment. This produce was designed for persons who have in place urinary catheters, fortunately i do not use a catheter. I have devised a flow capture from the source to the tubing that of course, drains to the collection bag...I am very satisfied with the utility and durability of the tubing, connectors, and bag. The retaining supports for the leg are adequate but you can use tape for greater assurance.
