The quality is good and they can be shortened easily enough if required to fit the door width.

So pleased to have found these screws - there are quite a few shorter ones available, but my door is thicker than usual and the original bolts holding the door opener had broken. I had looked everywhere I could for replacements. No luck until I went on Amazon and searched carefully for ones that were long enough. These did the job. Fixed in a few minutes after the postman arrived!

I used these to hold two sides of a door handle together on a broken door which screws would no longer grip on. Great for my need as regular nuts and bolts kept unscrewing with the pressue of the door being opened and shut (plus aesthetically more pleasing than nuts stick out on one side)The bolt part is designed so that you can cut down the length to fit your door.However, when I checked dimensions it fit the screw holes perfectly but when the item arrived the sleeve was a little thicker than dimensions (I guess the dimensions are for the bolt/screw not sleeve) and I had to drill the door handle to fit it through.

Quality of product

Definitely what is needed for those cavity doorw where the screws do not grip. Can be cut down to get the correct length to fit various thicknesses of doors
