Q: I'm 5'10 - 31/32 inch waist med in most exercise gear will that size work for me? Large seems to big in the past.

I suspect you do not need a Large size and a medium would be nearer your sizing. If too large, you can return for the small size.

My opinion would be large. My son is 6'3" with a 34 waist I got him large, his brother is 5'9" 36 waist got him XL. Both fit great on them.

It is recommended to buy a large size. The waist size is measured under flat conditions, and it will be very flexible when worn on the body. If the size you finally purchased is not suitable, return and exchange are supported.
