Bought this as a gift for a friend who is both a G&T lover and infused tea lover alike. Not given it to her yet so cannot comment on its actual usability but I think this set is visually very charming and decent for the price I paid. The customer service is excellent - I had a slight problem with one of the cups so contacted Root7 directly by email who responded very quickly and resolved the issue, no hassle. In my view, the teapot is not as bulbous as it appears in the pictures but lovely nonetheless. Both the teapot and cups are a lot lighter in weight than I thought they would be - very easy to hold. Not sure if the handles would get hot if filled with hot liquid (as not tried yet). The things that I think might make this product even better are to offer options, such as a version with saucers, or 4 cups instead of 2 etc. Plus, whilst this set does come boxed and the boxing is generally OK, it doesn't really do the product justice - I'd prefer it if the boxing looked more like a gift box. The box I received is not the same as the one shown in the picture at the time of writing.

Amazingly pretty. My friend was overjoyed with this gift. We are yet to try it out but I am jealous and want one too.

After reading other reviews, I was concerned about the set arriving broken, but it was perfect. It’s lovely and delicate. Pot and cups are smaller than I expected. The pot will fill the 2 small cups provided (which is the idea of it, of-course) but if you want to use the infuser and like a tall G&T, it’ll be one drink per pot.

This is a beautiful gift for anyone who loves gin. The teapot and cups are lovely. I’ve bought it for my MIL so I’ve not personally used it but can’t see how it wouldn’t work. We got sent a great infusion idea from the company and lots of nice ideas for infusions online.

It is a beautiful set. I am a little afraid of breaking it. I like that the cups are a usable size. It's not all show. No function. So happy I got it.

This is a very giftable item BUT I have yet to use it for hot tea because it appears to be too delicate for hot water. This is a cute pretty novelty item sweet for making a "pot" full of gin & tonic cocktails, some recipes infuse different flavors of tea.

I bought this as a gift for a friend, who loves tea and gin. It arrived in a timely matter, however the item was defective and possibly used? The writing on it was all scratched and cheap looking, rendering it unsuitable for a gift. I was super bummed. The glass was thin and delicate, and beautifully iridescent. Thought about purchasing another (in case mine was a fluke) but ended up getting her something else.
