They do work
I had read the reviews about theses and was desperate for treatment as I had a really sick pigeon and ring neck dove which I did not think the birds would make it but with this and the 4 in 1 treatments I was amazed in two weeks I was letting go two birds that would of died if I never treated them. So to answer all the reviews the item does work when used right .

Effective Canker Treatment for Chickens when dosed correctly 🐓
We noticed recently that Henrietta had quite a nasty chunk of canker inside the side of her mouth. It looks like yellowish cheese-like deposits in the mouth. It can build up quickly and restricts eating and can ultimately block the birds airway causing suffocation. It is caused by Trichomonas gallinae and is a protozoan parasite that needs moisture to survive, hence it loves the mouth, crop and oesophagus. We've been to the vets before with other hens with canker but the success rate for curing canker has been very low. I did some research and according to a number of sources, it is successfully treated using carnidazole (10mg per kg of body weight). Carnidazole is an antiprotozoal drug used in veterinary medicine. It is used to treat Trichomonas infection in pigeons. Harker Spartrix is for pigeons and each tablet contains 10mg of canidazole. We weighed Henrietta and she was close to 3kgs, so 10mg per kilo of body weight, means 3 tablets daily. Each night, at bedtime when she was quiet and dozing, we would take her from the coop, I'd hold her and my wife would gently put the three tablets into her mouth, one at a time until she swallowed them. They aren't huge, so quite easy to do or you could even cut them in half if you have a bantam. By the third night of treatment the canker had pretty much disappeared from the inside of her mouth and her appetite had returned. We are keeping the treatment up for 10 days, just to make sure she is completely clear, as after 5 days we notice the canker creeping back, so upped the dosage to 4 tablets. In 11 years of chicken keeping, this is the best success we have had compared to Apple Cider Vinegar, garlic extract, etc. and hopefully we can turn it around for Henrietta. This is just our experience and I don't claim to be a vet but given the outcome for a hen with canker isn't good, you really don't have a lot to lose. Obviously seek advice from a vet if in doubt. Update: After initially positive results, the canker started to come back, so we are now seeing another treatment.

Bought to treat a stray racing pigeon that owner had abandoned. Treatment should be successful; this product comes highly recommended.

OK but I'd contact vet next time.
Worked but a prescribed med from vet worked better and was cheaper for us too. Your vet may differ.
