I purchased this for my new build. There is something to be said for comfortable flooring. This is used for my bathroom floor tile. Installation was a breeze. You will need additional electrical line installed for thermostat. Knowing that will make Installation a seamless process. Installing the mat and wire is pretty simple. Obviously don't rush through and pay close attention to fitting wire properly before moving on. Love that this came with both a tester gadget as well as test function on the thermostat itself. I've been using it for about 4 months to include December and January, when most cold temperatures and having the heated floor is a game changer! Anyone who's walked on the floors has hands down enjoyed and asked lots of questions about product used. I have definitely recommended this unit!

If you’re an experienced floor installer, this is an easy install. I’ve done a thousand tile jobs (20 years ago) but I had never messed with heated flooring. The substrate is super thick, but also super easy to work with, the rest of the mat’ls were also high-quality and the install was easy as pie. The thermostat wiring diagram is crap, but a quick internet search and I was good to go. Also, they said they sent enough for 90 ft/sq, when in installed IAW the instructions, it was more like 125 ft/sq. Luckily, I had planned to only use it on about 75% of the room, so I had plenty of space to use up the wire. All in all, great product, we love it.

This may be a luxury, but we didn't put it in our last remodel and regretted it. Thus, it was a top priority in this remodel. Granted, you may need it in the summer, but on those chilly fall, winter and spring nights it is wonderful. Our contractor was impressed with the ease of installation.

What is worse than a cold tile floor in the winter? Cold feet!This economical solution to cold fee will change your life! Overall. It was easy to install and it works great! Following the provided instructions and watching a few installation videos made this a successful DIY project. Pictures show the installation of the membrane, heater wire and controller.

Great value for the cost. Heats up our bathroom floor really nice once it was installed. Only 4 stars because it comes as a very heavy and bulky box. Not easily moveable by myself.

All floors should be heated!!!! It’s perfect! It has schedules for day and night…. Functional and easy to program. Control pad is amazing!!!
