Q: Does yours make a nasty 'knocking' noise? As if something is lose in side?

YES within a few minutes it started knocking at an angle and soon was knocking even when level. Unfortunately I didn't try to use it until the Amazon 30 day return policy had expired.

Can someone be more specific about which bonnets are used for each job. There's a yellow shaggy one, a terry-cloth one and a microfiber gray one. Which one is used to apply wax and which one is used to polish? I assume the yellow shaggy one is used to remove wax and buff both applications.

Q: Does the on/off stay locked ON, or does it require constant contact?

Flip the switch to on and it stays on by itself.
