Greenworks 2992002VT Mower Blade, Black

This fit my 5 year old battery operated Kobalt lawnmower from Lowes! I have now cut my grass three times with it and it works beautifully! It's sharp, easy to clean, and it was easy to install. This prevented me from having to buy a new lawnmower as I thought I would have to do since I couldn't find a replacement blade for it at the origin store. Social media pointed me toward this one and wow, it works! I'm going to buy another one and another battery for the mower now!

I started having issues with my Kobalt lawnmower. It shuts off after a minute of mowing. Online, it was suggested that resistance due to a dull and chipped blade would fix the issue. My blade was infact dull and chipped. Went to the large brick and mortar hardware store that I bought my Kobalt lawnmower from, in order to purchase a replacement blade. Wouldn't ya know, they don't carry it. They have similar but nothing that fits without modification. I couldn't find it online either. As I was scrolling through Amazon listings I noticed this blade had similar notches next to the mounting holes. I ordered it and per usual it was here in two days. Thanks Amazon. While this blade is slightly longer than the original, it fits perfectly. It seems to be of better quality than the original. This didn't fix my original issue but it definitely mows the grass better.

Lowes sells 20" Kobalt lawn mowers, but does not sell Kobalt blades that fit my mower. Amazon sells a Greenworks 20 " BLADE that does fit my mower.

Easy to install and works as it should.
