Good, does the job, nice shine, nice smell

An old black Formica worktop was looking patchy and stained. Any cleaning product with bleach has made the surface dull, various spillages have left marks. I searched the internet for a remedy having previously used baby oil which made the surface shine but only temporarily. Other products were priced differently but this seemed a good one, with the trustworthy Lakeland name. I’m extremely pleased with the results. The product is relatively expensive but in a large can, easy to apply and in my opinion smells lovely. After several days it still looks good, all the smears and marks have gone and even used on stainless steel taps, hob, kettle its brilliant.

My polished light grey granite work surface was showing some mottled marks, as if the shiny surface had been damaged, probably by people using the wrong products on it. This product has greatly improved, but not eradicated the marks. Maybe it's a bit late as the work surface is 5 years old. The scent is, I think, vanilla. I find it rather sickening and sweet but I don't like vanilla. I prefer citrus and woody scents. This product is quite quick and easy to use, and it has worked well enough. I believe that the product has left a nice hard shiny finish that will stay put through being wiped with a wet cloth with weak washing up liquid solution, though it will need to be renewed from time to time.

I have used this product for several yearsUsed weekly on my laminate worktops after cleaning then drying it keeps them looking like new.

Problem with these products is that a bit of elbow grease gets a good shine, provided you don't have hard water. If so, you clean off the calcium that dulls the work surface, then use this product. Result - shine!However, when you wipe down "wet" areas, all the time, the shine just goes, after a few days. So, your "dry" surfaces retain their shine, and the food prep/sink areas are dull again.This is better than the previous product I bought: HG Natural Stone Kitchen Top Cleaner 500 ml - for Daily Cleaning No Streaks & Absolutely Safe. ("Amazon's Choice" - can you believe it?) No streaks, really?This is not however perfect... And it's expensive. The search goes on.

Excellent product. While I was without the Worktop Wonder, my worktops (although clean) did not look sparkling clean. Now they do!
