Good product for the price
I bought this mic to replace my previous studio mic which I had for years. Its extremely clean and quiet when using it with atascam mixer hooked up to my PC via USB. Its got a nice blue LED that lights up so you know its hooked up right and ready to go. There is no on off switch but as long as you turn off the phantom power before unplugging and plugging in thats cool. Its very heavy and looks good but you need to buy cable and a pop mask or if you need a shock frame these have to be purchased seperately. So all in all I got a much better sound then my other mic which cost me £100 (reduced from £200 over a decade ago) and its much better then my other mic Oktava MK-219 mic and my Shure Sm58 when it comes to input as its much louder. Its great for both vocals and micing up an acoustic guitar. Very pleased with my purchase.

All-in-all very good value for money...
I got this, one of the cheaper condenser mikes in Samson's range, to use with a new Tascam recorder to try to improve on recordings I'd done using a Shure dynamic mike. The CO3 is well-made and feels very solid and sturdy, with its matt light-grey finish metal body and matt dark-grey finish top. It comes complete with a fairly sturdy plasic carrying case with foam insert, swivel mount adapter and also various fittings for different mike stands that I haven't needed to use. An optional 'spider'-style shock mount is also available. (The mike doesn't come with a cable and one will not fit in the carring case.)The mike is very versatile having 3 pickup patterns - Cardioid, Omni and figure-8 and also a switchable high-pass filter to cut 12dB per octave and a PAD switch to lower the sensitivity by 10dB. It also comes with a clear and straight-forward instuction book giving details of specifications and suggestions for use, including mike placement etc. The sound quality is very good but I was initially shocked by how sensitive it is, producing 'popping' from vocals even though I was quite a distance from the mike. However, I've never used a more expensive mike so can't really compare it to one of those. All-in-all very good value for money.

Much better than it's USB-sibling mic, because you're able to monitor youself without a delay.

but not as good as an SM58
These types of microphones are cheap, but not as good as an SM58, and slightly harsh in their response. If you want a good cheap mic, get an SM58. If you want a good mid-priced mic, get an sE4400a (NOT the 2200a) or an SM7b.
