Simple yet highly-effective way to get an HDMI feed from older Playstations
I was looking for an easy way to output a HDMI signal directly from my old Playstation for bringing into editing and video mixing on modern gear. Works like a champ and is pretty much plug-n-play with easy power supplementation via a standard USB connector. The size is compact and lightweight, which can be tucked easily out of the way. The price is super reasonable, making this product an affordable way to breathe new life into an old gaming system for use with HDMI TVs and recorders. Same connector fits original Playstation and PS2 perfectly and can be used with either. Great product, thanks!

Works well on my Fat PS1
I have an adapter similar to this for my PS2, I could swap the cable back and forth but would rather had a dedicated cable for both my PS1 and PS2. From the use I have gotten out of it so far, this works great @720p on my PS1. It comes in a box with a Micro-USB cable for power, a short (3ish ft) HDMI cable, and the converter box (1ft cable to PS1/2). Setup is easy, plug in the Micro-USB to a power strip (or wall wort), plug the HDMI cable into the TV and converter box, and plug the converter box into the Playstation. The included fold-out instructions tell you some settings to do in the PS menu, but I did not need to change anything. This is a good, cheap, converter box to get an HDMI connection from your old PS to a modern TV.

Okay plug & play, lackluster video, requires USB power supply, gets hot when used
This review is for the “ZUKVYE PS2 to HDMI Converter Adapter for HDTV HDMI Monitor Compatible with PS1/PS2/PS3 Game Consoles with HDMI Cable” which had a price of $16.99 when ordered and at the time of this review. This “ZUKVYE PS2 to HDMI Converter Adapter” is essentially plug and play. It comes with a converter box that plugs directly into the PS2 video output port, 1x HDMI cable, and a micro-USB to USB cable that is used to power the adapter. This adapter does NOT come with a USP power supply so you will need to provide your own if you don’t have a USB port available to plug this device into to power it. The video from this adapter is okay but not any better than the original video RCA connection would give you. This adapter is worth it if you simply need to connect the game console into a HDMI port on your TV or if your TV doesn’t have the original RCA or RGB connections on your TV that were used with the original PS2 video connection cables. It simply works but some video distortion does occur with certain games and there is a minor lag which can hurt your game “performance” when speedy reactions are essential. I have only used this adapter in short duration tests to see if it works or not. The adapter does tend to get a bit “warm” when used and I have not had the chance to test this adapter yet during any kind of “extended gaming sessions”. I just hope that the adapter holds up and doesn’t get hot enough to destroy your gaming system or catch fire from the heat that the adapter produces during regular use. Not bad for the price but not perfect either. 3 stars

It works Pretty Good
I got this to replace my old ps2 to hdmi adapter that bit the big one. This one here works pretty good. There are some issues with display when using OPL, but that can be corrected via settings. So far have had no real issues with game play, and looks just as good as my old one. If you have a slim like me than this is really good as it keeps it away from getting snagged on the slims power cord.

Works Great
Use to hook up my PS2 to HDMI and it works great, picture quality is not amazing as far as an upscale, but makes hooking PS2 to a modern Tv a breeze, just hook it up and there it is! Very simple and works great. Great device, easy to use.

Working on my PS2
Wanted a way to hook my old PS2 to my LG OLED TV. This worked well with one small quirk. When I first turn everything on I get a blank screen, if I hit the reset button on the PS2 then the video comes up on the screen. Not sure why it does this but other than that this adapter is working good for me.

Works but poor picture quality
This works but the picture quality it provides is low. Overall not bad, but could be better. Easy to use, good length cord.

Play your older Playstation thru HDMI
If you are looking for something that is plug-and-play this certainly has most of what you need to play older playstation consoles on a modern TV with a HDMI port. It comes with a HDMI cable, USB power cable, and the box to connect to the playstation (you will need to provide your own USB power adapter). The picture is decent, but older consoles certainly did not have anything resembling modern HI-resolution graphics. Text in older games with this comes out a bit fuzzy, as does the rest of the picture. For the pros, it works out of the box and includes a switch on the side of the device easily changing between 720 and 1080. This would work well for anybody looking for a plug and play device that easily works out of the box without you having to do anything more. On the negative side, it seems to work somewhere between composite and component cables (think closer to the yellow RCA type plug as compared to the red/blue/green). I have used other component cables with a component to HDMI adapter that provides clearer graphics and better resolution than this. In addition, if you plan to use it on a PS2 with free-mcboot, cycling thru any of the higher graphics resolutions would not work work (unlike other similar adapters which worked fine). Upon changing the video output mode with this device, the video signal was lost until changing it back to its default low-resolution mode. If you are looking for a simple plug and play - this kit would be acceptable. If you are looking to get the best image quality with a similar price range I would certainly look elsewhere.
