It is decent vinyl material. Seems strong, he tumbled a lot and it took it. Very good elastic at legs and wrist, not too snug so as to leave marks which is important. Not too loose so as to slip around. On a hot day they will sweat. So I eventually left the hat off. Visor had a crease in it maybe a hair dryer could get it out I got this coverall so I didn't ruin any more outfits on the go. And there was a fat grass stain on the butt so mission accomplished.

Order 1-3yr old size for my 14month old that fits size 18months in clothes. It's slightly too big but there's elastic at the arms and feet to keep it from covering their hands and tripping on their feet. I think the quality is great for the price and don't see any issues. The lion is very bright safety orange! I was also under the impression that it was held up by buttons only but it's a zipper and three buttons. There are two pockets for the kiddos to fill with sticks & rocks. Overall I'm happy with it.
