Great Pressure Cooker, Great Design
I love this pressure cooker. It is so much better than the Presto I replaced. The you can count on the pot pressure sealing every time.

Great little pot when cooking for one
The best parts are that at 1.5L it is big enough for a complete meal for one, assuming you make a single-dish meal like chili or stew. Using an electric stove it heats up VERY quickly, and I am able to maintain it at operating temperature using medium-low (3 on a 10-point dial) on a small coil. Mixed signals on whether it's induction friendly or not--the marketing on the box says it is, but the instruction manual IN the box states that it is not, citing that the thin induction layer is not guaranteed to last. Nice little "in case of emergency" feature, but don't rely on induction. One thing it could do better, the lid secures differently than other pressure cookers I've used. Normally the lid goes on conventionally--you place it on top, twist it a bit, and it locks. This one has no locking mechanism, it relies on the fact that the opening is an oval not a circle. You turn the lid 90 degrees, insert it INTO the pot at an angle, straighten it out and rotate it 90 degrees back, and then lift the lid up so it's flush with the underside of the pot's inwardly-bent lip. This bent lip also means that pouring liquid out of this pot is less than ideal. Not the end of the world, you just need a spoon. Two things to do better if there's ever a Mark 2 version: Go with a conventional lid, since you're less at risk of dunking the lid into your food before sealing when you just plunk the lid on top and twist. And second, add a thermometer, it would be nice to know how hot it is in there.

Powerful little cooker, love it!!!
First let me say, this is my honest review of items I purchased at full price. This Hawkins Classic 2-Liter inner lid aluminum pressure cooker is a powerful little cooker, very easy to understand how to use it, I really love how the lid locks inside, I’m not concerned about the lid blowing off due to the pressure, it cooks super fast, I’ve made soups and I also fried chicken in it (if you don’t know how to fry in a pressure cooker please check out some YouTube videos) the one thing missing was a small rack to keep food from sticking to the bottom, so I found this little gem, Stainless Steel Dim Sum Steamer Sunrise Kitchen Supply (4.5") (Purchased from Amazon) it fits inside the cooker perfectly, now steaming veggies, dumplings, or to prevent some food from sticking to the bottom of the pot is worry free.

It's an OK pot. It DOES NOT WORK ON EITHER OF MY INDUCTION HOBS.
Just read the title and you'll get my drift.
