Ciarra CBCS9102 90cm Cooker Hood Wall Mount Chimney Hood Recirculating&Ducting 650 m³/h with 4 Speed WIFI APP Touch Control Kitchen Extractor Fan with CBCF003 Carbon Filters

This is a slick looking extractor unit and as you can see from the picture it looks the part when it is fully built in as well as when it is fitted with the stainless steel exhaust hood on a flat wall. Our installation was not in an opened out chimney breast so our builder adapted the Ciarra unit so that it fitted this more complicated position better than it would otherwise have done. Funnily enough the Ciarra extractor was not our original first purchase - the builder had provided one for us with our Howdens Kitchen but when we saw it fitted we thought it looked terrible, so damn the expense, we searched the net and found this lovely looking Ciarra unit. The extractor was vented through the outside wall and not taken up through the chimney flue as that would have involved us in a lot more expense in the form of a metal chimney liner and all the fitting and messing about that would entail. The extractor fan is modern and has a very slick 21st century minimalist look. It appears well made and so we hope it will give us good service before we need to replace or repair it. The extractor function itself is powerful, so much so that the builder asked where we had purchased it from as he had never seen one with that much suction force on a low to mid setting before. Highly recommended

Quality cooker hood, really powerful but quiet. 2 brightness levels. Looks really sleek.. very easy to operate, the soft touch buttons are very responsive. Extraction quality is fantastic and compared to last one is much quieter but powerful. I got someone to fit it but if you’re diyer you could easily fit it. I didn’t use the recirculation filters… straight extraction. Also very easy to control from the phone app.

Very nice hood for the money. Not too noisy and easy to fit. It looks good quality and the touch buttons work well. The LED lights are a let down...they are far too cool (colour temperature should be around a warm 2800k not the horrible blue white light supplied around 6500k.) The lights supplied are also far too weak and not up to the job, I'll be immediately replacing mine for something much more powerful and warmer. The unit is also quite heavy and tends to lean downward a little bit even when it's mounted perfectly. You need to cut up a plastic card and use these to slide between the wall on the lower edge to push the unit up a little to square it off.

Been installed now for a month, seems to be great quality, looks good and is quieter than the previous Elica one we had. Great value for money too

Took a chance on this as it is not that expensive but glad I did. Very quite and works well in our 14 ft x 10 ft kitchen. Mounting needs attention as it doesn't hang level from wall on supplied bracket , it needed about 1/2 inch packing along bottom edge to level it out off wall, also the chimney mounting isn't that good but making alternative fixing has greatly improved it. When all is done it is a brilliant extractor, pulls really great on all settings and the flaps on the external grill are fully open.You also need to unscrew the light panel and remove the lights to remove all the protective film. I would highly recommend this item .

Installed to replace an earlier Ciarra model that failed, the motor seemed to warp and throw it out of balance (twice!), Ciarra originally exchanged and then refunded me and I was happy to try another model though cautious about quality after two failed installations. The service was at least very impressive. I like the look of the unit, the glass front gets marked very easily with finger marks and must be cleaned regularly. Buttons are a bit slow to respond, perhaps not very sensitive? Works ok, not brilliant though. The sound is quite good, the extraction is reasonable but I don't think the 650m3/h is right. Don't get me wrong, its ok but not amazing. I am using it with the external ducting and no charcoal filters. I am reducing the pipe from the larger 150mm to the smaller 120mm and to do that I also removed the two black flaps so there is minimal restriction on air flow, it may be that but I doubt it. To be fair though, none of these hoods are particularly good as far as I can see, from any manufacturer, so you can pay a lot more for roughly the same thing. On that basis it is good value for money.

This is only my 3rd or 4th time leaving a review. I was so impressed with this fan I just had to leave a review. This hood was simple to fit about an hour in total. The main point I reckon to fitting the fan and to keep the fan quiet is to make sure that you don’t reduce 150mm diameter vent. I had to buy a 150mm vent cover through Amazon. This hood does come with a metre or so of 150mm expandable hose. I bought the fan during a sale and are as good if not better than Bosch or Neff. I cannot fault this fan. The light has 2 levels and on the top level it’s just bright enough. Also it looks modern. So if you are in 2 minds to buy one of these hoods, just go for it you won’t regret it.

Does fit in with a little fiddle but not a problem maybe next time as get older in life and things become more difficult

Antes de comprar este extractor tuve muchas dudas puesto que hay muchos comentarios divididos pero sin embargo tenía todas las características que yo buscaba como: que sea A++, que sea grande, que tenga varias potencias, elegante y que no haga mucho ruido, que en general todas son ruidosas en el máximo nivel, acabamos de instalarla que nos tomo mas o menos 3 horas con el vídeo que viene en el papel que aunque esté en inglés muestra muy bien el proceso. Por otro lado tienes que presionar 2 segundos cada número para cambiar de potencia que por cierto el 1 casi no hace ruido y el último si que hace más ruido pero yo creo que es normal a menos que te compres uno de 500€ o más que sean súper silenciosos que no si existe, lo he puesto en funcionamiento y su absorción es mejor del anterior extractor que tenía puesto que ya era muy antiguo, en resumen este extractor coincide en calidad y precio me parece justo, pese a que hay varios comentarios y puntuaciones negativas creo que en este caso a mi me sirvió no fiarme de ellas. Estoy contenta ojalá me dure, ya iré informando

Filtri essenziali se come me avete una cappa senza scarico esterno. Le ho riprese a distanza di 4 anni e quelle vecchie non erano nemmeno alla metà del consumo. Ottime
