Great package and it makes my hair look much nicer

It is very expensive to use all daily..however I want to be able to afford to use the products gave my hair an instant shine - albeit time consuming. The products especially the pre shampoo treat were dramatic in that my hair felt soft. This little kit gave me the opportunity to try all to see what effect they had on my extremely dry and brittle hair...it delivered just wanting to purchase all in refillable large sizes...at more affordable prices that's my personal challenge. Yes would recommend the products I thought it delivered. Would have given 5 if the prices were achievable for all in decent sizes

We tried a few different Philip Kingsley items from Amazon Vine including this elasticizer deep conditioning hair treatment kit. We took it on holiday as they come as good travel-size/trial bottles for this purpose. This set works well as a top-brand-name gift set and better value for money buying them as a set than individually. Our brief observations are as follows (I say brief as the size of the bottles only really lets you get an initial impression rather than anything accurate/long-term): Daily damage defence bottle (60ml) - smells generally not great - has a funny tinge to it (which we can't quite place). However, applies nicely and doesn't require a lot of product for good results. The elasti-styler 5-in-1 (40ml), we also tried separately (and have reviewed fully separately), and overall love the smell but were a bit underwhelmed by the actual results in view of its expensive price. The elasticizer deep-conditioning treatment (75ml) - requires a bit more work as it's advised to apply before showering on wet hair and to leave for 20 minutes before showering out. For that amount of effort the results don't really justify the amount of work but it does act as a decent conditioner for curly, frizzy hair and smells very good. The elasticizer booster, restoring conditioner (20ml) - is just a typical in-shower conditioner with average results and unfortunately also an average/unremarkable smell. Helps with knots and tangled ends but it's no miracle worker and 20ml only lasted one attempt/trial with long, curly hair. Overall it's 3 stars from us for this set. Certainly far cheaper than buying some other Philip Kingsley products this way but you can certainly get a full equivalent set of full sized bottles that work just as well for less money. If you want a gift set it's OK but otherwise I still find it hard to recommend because of the price over everything else.

Didn’t make a difference to my hair at all

None of these products made a difference in my hair. I had looked at the reviews from their actual website which were fairly good so I went on Amazon to try the sample pack. There was no change in my hair. I was better off using Pantene.
