This fan moves a decent amount of air. I used this with a reducing collar (16" to 12"), and then connected 12" flexible duct to connect to a vent in my kitchen soffit, to serve as an exhaust fan for cooking. It's hard to broil Ribeyes without smoking up the whole house... after installing this exhaust fan, things are much better!

Sturdy and works as expected.

Fan seems perfectly adequate. Gonna be mounting in a shed. Wired up an extension cord and fan runs fine. Shutters seem okay, but I wouldn't trust them to make a good seal if mounting in a living space. For the price I think it's a really good option for shed/attic ventilation.

I live in Florida, my garage gets very hot, so does my attic, I used this on the the inside with a thermostat in the attic, seems to work well, I wasn't ready to put a attic fan an cut a hole in my new roof

I installed two of these in steel doors to cool a generator. They draw about 100W each, they are reasonably quiet when running (you can have a conversation at normal level right in front). The quality is good, shipping boxes are well thought out and protect them well in transit. The only thing I would mention is sudden changes in pressure (like the wind gusting) can cause the closed louvers to open and close, making some noise. Overall I am very pleased.

Works great. The fan itself isn't too noisy for the volume of air it pushes, but the shutters are. With a small breeze it sounded like my neighbor was setting up an aluminum ladder. Also, they don't close far enough to keep flying insects out. I finally removed them and installed a screen instead.
