Q: can you hot water bath preserve juice in these bottles with these gaskets ?

I've never used them for that before...but I am familiar with the process... I'd say these would be your best bet if using those bottles. Try a set and see- they are good quality (maybe keep the water level a little below the actual gasket- vs under water, if possible!)

Q: Do these work on Ikea bottles and if so, are they better with the hole or with them solid?

Don't know what an 'ikea' bottle is...but if it's like a Grolsch bottle, then yes. They are not solid- they have a hole in them...this is because the cap where they are applied has a nipple that goes through the center hole of the gasket. They wouldn't work if were solid.
