Q: Does it have the consistency of jello?

Yes. It's a bit thicker than jello. Great smell and hold.

Q: Will this work for waves,?

Yes it will work for waves, and will lay your hair down very nice as well. You have to apply a small amount (too much will give your hair that straight look), then run your brush under hot water and pat dry brush on a towel. The heat and moisture will loosen up the wax a bit. Brush hair 360 degrees for your normal stroke count, then lay it down using wave cap for about 20 minutes. I brush again and lay it down for about 5-10 minutes longer the second time. It will hold all day, and everyone will want to know what you are using.

Q: Does it have like a little bit of glitter or sparkles in it that makes the product shiny

Yes you will see a little glitter but just a little. It makes your hair somewhat hard but creates a great look. You will need to wash your hair a few days later.
