Sturdy bit of kit only, only down side is the grub screw looks like its starting to chew up already. I do various pens so I alter the mandrel length regular and that grub screw to serve its purpose. Would of got 5 stars if I wasnt looking at finding a new bolt.

I have turned around 30 pens since buying this. Still works fine. I have the tail stock engaged which seems to prevent the shaft bending as some other people have mentioned. Although I have no idea how much force they must be applying to have bent the shaft. Either sharpen your tools or apply less sanding pressure.

What a brilliant product for any pen turner. This kit is so versatile and easy to setup and use. The bonus is that it is suitable for multiple types of pens: retractable, fountain, large or small. Highly recommended. Brilliant

Not much you could write about this except that it does the job very well and it’s a wonder I haven’t worn it out yet. My one whinge is the knurled nut tool is a bit fiddly and could be easily lost.

Really good mandrel with bushings for 7mm pen kits. Other bushings can be used with this for other pen kit sizes. The Morse taper allows the mandrel shaft to pass through it thus allowing a wide range of adjustment.

Well made piece of equipment and certainly fit for purpose.Comes with cones and spacers.
