I noticed that some of the reviews of this bag aren't that great; that it wouldn't hold anything very heavy, and it seemed flimsy. I decided to take a chance because I really needed something like this, and I'm so glad I did! This bag is everything I was hoping for! I took it for a test drive when I got it and I'm pleased to report that it did just fine. I bought a bottle of liquid laundry detergent and a few other things, and it held up just fine. I didn't try to put a 12 pack of soda in it but I really think it would be able to handle it. Clearly, you aren't going to load it up with heavy things, but for someone like me, who just shops for one person, it does just fine. I am more than pleased that I took a chance on this bag! It's very reasonably priced, too, in my opinion.EDIT: I've used this bad several times now, and I love it more each time! One review complained that it kept falling over; it's a soft sided bag, so it's naturally not going to remain standing straight up when it's empty. Once you put things in it, it stands just fine. I bought some canned goods, frozen items, ect, and pretty much filled it up. I flipped the wheels down and pulled it across the parking lot (a very bumpy surface, I might add) and it worked perfectly. I took a chance and bought this bag, inspite of some pretty negative reviews, and I seriously love it! My expectations were low, so I am very pleased to report this one is a winner! I only write reviews on items I feel strongly about, good or bad, and I'm 100% recommending this bag. Buy it, you won't be sorry!! 💯

I would give this bag 5 stars except that I wish it were just 1 inch or so wider at the top. It has a good 1/4 in piece of plywood in the inside bottom with a padding, 2 vertical plastic braces underneath that hold the hardware and the wheels stay locked in place. It will hold a gallon of milk and a 2 lt bottle of soda or 2 two liter bottles of soda with extra room around them at the base. Then I can fit 1 plastic bag of groceries on top of that. After 8 uses, it is holding up well so far. I enjoy wheeling it behind me from the car to the apartment instead of slinging a heavy tote bag over my shoulder to leave hands free for the other grocery bag.A piece of advice, you don't want to load it and place it behind the driver's seat on the floor, it will roll underneath the seat and get stuck! What I found works is to stand it up on the back seat with the legs toward the rear of the seat and the wheels in front. I'm happy with this bag, but wish I just had a little more room at the top zipper and maybe an additional horizontal brace at the bottom between the wheels.9-24-25 - Eventually this bag that I loved - 1 of the plastic housings for the fold up wheels broke; I still try to use the bag by trying to tie/duck tape it more securely, but am reaching the point where I won't be able to use it to pull by the wheels anymore. What a shame.

The bags expand wonderfully, and are definitely worth the price. I’m 5’6”, so the arm to handle length is perfect for me. I was able to fit 4 half gallon cartons of milk in the bottom, and still had room to add other groceries. The wheels work well, and pulling it was easy. To make it compact again, just follow the zipper trail. There is no need to worry about how to fold it, because it automatically folds as you zip it up. The purple one folds out into a surprisingly nice size bag. The handles are still small, but I just attach it to the top or sides of the black bag with a bungee cord, or carry it with my hand. You can also use it to carry the black bag.

Well I just got this today first thing I notice I like the color and size. Then the smell hit me. It is rather strong and I am airing it out outside overnight and see if that will help. The bag did not have instructions in how to convert it back to a carrying bag. Its a bit small , so not many items can fit. But I'm sure in a pinch for light shopping will do a good job. My first day to use it will be tomorrow... I'll let you know how did it go. - Update review 4/4/19 - well I like that you can walk with it like a shoulder bag so I did a light to medium weight shopping took a few minutes to open and put items in comfortably. I felt good rolling back home under a mile walk. Was okay to lift up a flight stairs. Took out all items out then I notice a small tear near front bottom. Looks like a corner of a box puncture through. So I cut piece of masking tape to cover...still useable and lifesaver.

What is it with products getting worse and worse every day??? I had a wonderful, foldable, canvas shopping bag years ago that I bought in Bed, Bath & Beyond in NYC. Never found it again. I bought another one that was also canvas - not as good as the first one, and I got a lot of use out of it. The next one, bought in Amazon, was a piece of junk. And now, looking at the reviews and what it looked like in the photo, I bought this one. Honestly, what can you carry in this bag with the really not sturdy wheels???!!! So disappointed! Bought and had it shipped abroad for myself and as a gift. Never again! I won't buy what I can't return quickly. Stop getting cheap products from China! Enough! Cheap stuff. I would rather pay more and get something that will last and I can get good use from it; but I can't even find that! Get good quality please!

I bought this because I live in a high rise, This bag is much bigger than expected. it's very durable. the material is weighty. I must say that making it smaller is hard. Due to the thick material and the zipper, it works fine once I use it for a while. the zipper is really weird I had to fight with it the first time. but I have the hang of it it's fine. And making it smaller or larger is a breeze. I actually put 6 bags of groceries in it. what a thrill not to have all the bags in an elevator I do recommend this bag.

I liked the idea of this lightweight tote with wheels. It falls apart easily at the seams. And when you wheel it, the fabric scrapes the ground and gets holes. I took it to India and it did not hold up well, but from car to house for groceries, etc, it will be fine.
