Front Left Driver Side Power Window Regulator & Motor Assembly Compatible with Fiat 500 2012-2019,Replace for 751-648 68070267AC 68070267AD 68070267AE

Purchased this to replace the regulator in my 2012 Fiat 500. The motor was fine on the one that was broken, but the plastic clip that was holding the window to the regulator was broken. I considered just buying that clip and replacing it on the current regulator, but after watching a view videos about how to do that, I realized I didn't want to spend all that time to try and repair it since it involves removing the motor to relieve the tension and then putting it back together in a specific way... I was sure I would mess that up. The price for this new regulator and motor was worth the time and stress that it would save.When replacing the regulator, most of the time you will need to replace the plastic window clip that keeps the window aligned in the window track. I ordered a 2 of these clips so I'd have a spare on hand.The most difficult part was getting the window clip pin pushed in far enough to hold the clip on the window. Once I got the pin pushed in, the next hardest part was getting it into the window track. To do this part, connected the regulator to the electric and slowly lowered the window all the way and then used some pliers pull the seal out a little bit to get the window to go into the track and then slowly roll the window up with the switch until it seats properly in the track. Just be careful when doing this so you don't break the clip on the regulator again. A missing or broken window clip causes most of the failures with the window regulator clip.YouTube has great videos for the Fiat as well as many other vehicles.
