It's a gamble but could be worth it.
They're literally shredded hospital sheets and absorb nothing. Good for wiping stuff off since they leave behind little to no fibers, or covering stuff. Very good plus side is that a 1/3rd or the box was nice kitchen towels. That was a pleasant surprise.

I'm sure this may work for some but, the t-shirt rags didn't work for our housekeeping dept., we needed a rag with texture.

Cut up blankets? What the heck?
I expected something like t-shirt materiel, what i got was a loose woven blanket type material in 2 foot squares. I think i can use them but will have to cut them and hope they will be absorbent. Next time i will look for recycled t-shirt material like the last bag i bought.

Great product
These are fantastic towels. I do not use them for buffing or finish work, they do not absorb liquids very well. They are great for cleaning anything and also great for single use, then just throw them away.

Careful what you buy
I thought I was getting old cut up t-shirts. Half the box was T-shirts and the other half was old pillow cases which are not good shop rags and the pillow cases were still one piece.

Not quite "Rags" .. more like cut up thin blankets.
I have to agree with the majority of other reviews....My "Color Woven Wiping Rags" are actually super thin blanket material. Like the almost see-through hospital blankets.... Besides not being absorbent, the edges are very frayed, and I am sure these will leave little strands of material on anything they touch.Summary of 10 other reviews:1. These are not “woven rags”. They are cut up clothing.2. Tossed out used white hospital sheets and pillowcases3. sent a bunch of cut-up bed sheet, not absorbent at all4. Cut up blankets? What the heck?5. They sent me nonabsorbent cut-up bed sheets.6. These are not woven rags. We received a box of cut-up pajamas.7. and appear to be cut up hospital blankets, NOT Woven8. shows ripped up knit t-shirts. I received woven napkins that are nonabsorbent.9. but super poor quality rags. Some were okay BUT most of it was a cut-up bed sheet that isn't absorbent10. Non-absorbent material.
