I bought this dog gate to keep our dog out of the living room. It looks very nice in our house and looks like the photo. I ordered the brown and really like it! It stands up sturdy on the brackets and folds up nice to store away. It might seem kind of pricey, but it’s big like I needed and pleasing to the eye!

Update: i had this gate for less than a month before I ruined it by leaving it out in the rain. It absorbed so much water and became so water logged that it just split apart and has this orange fungus looking stuff growing out of it. What a waste.I use it outdoors on my deck and bring it in at night and inclement weather. It’s easily portable. My dog doesn’t test it, it stays where we put it. It comes with feet that are easy to attach/remove. I only used them the first day, but don’t really need them because of the trifold way the gate stands. I’m happy to have them though in case we need to block off a wider opening.

This gate is attractive and works perfect for my use. I use it in my garage to keep my dogs from getting into the street when my garage door is open. They follow me everywhere, so this gate allows me to let them in the garage while I am working. It is very attractive and I love that the gate that opens in the middle so I don't have to crawl over it if I decide to go out of it while I have it in place. Also my dogs are small under 7 lbs so I do not need to anchor the ends of the gates by drilling any holes. It is freestanding and keeps my dogs inside perfectly. Easy to take down and put up when needed.

If your looking for something sturdy or made well, it’s not this one. I chose this gate because it didn’t require assembly and it wasn’t too expensive. (I didn’t know if I’d like a gate at my front door) The top latch broke day one— I have no idea why you’d ever use 2 latches if you planned on walking in and out of the gate regularly—I didn’t install the bottom one so I was able to replace to one that broke with the one given for the bottom. It’s very flimsy and was chipped up offer one day of use. IF you do order this, you need to order more of the bracing feet/brackets. No way it will stay up if you only have the 2 included.

It is nice how easy it forms custom shapes and separates across from the door (back) of the gate to close off an even larger area. Also the door is much better made than other reviews lead you to believe. The best thing about this Cate is how much more attractive it is in your home than a traditional crate.It would be nice to have two extra sets of hinges for an option to fasten to each side of a wall. Or even better, come with two more feet. Also, the feet have felt on the bottom, which acts strictly as support to keep it from tipping. If there was some type of rubber on the bottom to keep it from sliding, this gate would be perfect.

UPS dropped off less than 5 minutes ago, first thing that I see when we take it out of the package is a cracked board on one section. Went back and forth with deciding on purchasing this gate due to other reviews having issues, and sadly I have now received a broken gate as well.

This gate completely divides my house in half - which makes it so amazing for someone who has two dogs and a toddler. (This gate is not intended for use with kids, but we use it for our child and it works great. Just have to watch because it can pinch fingers - but it hasn’t happened to us.)Easy installation. Easy gate access. My 100lb dog doesn’t stand a chance against it!! We ordered hinges and drilled it to our walls. It’s amazing and beautiful to boot!
