Dockers Men's Classic Fit Signature Khaki Lux Cotton Stretch Pants-Pleated

These are absolutely my favorite pair of pants. Personally, I find these pants to be the most comfortable pants in my closet, which is ultimately the most important factor. I like the feel of Dockers because the fabric is thick enough to be durable, yet are just permeable enough to allow my skin to breathe. They are also relatively lighweight compared to denim jeans.It definitely helps to try on the right size in person before ordering online. These pants fit loose with low cut in the crotch area, which I prefer in casual pants. I find the cotton fabric to be above mid-range, but are not as good compared to more premium stain-resistant and wrinkle-free fabrics. Still, the fabric feels smooth, thick, and looks very good after 9 months of weekly wear. By comparison, the Old Navy pants I bought at the same time feel thin and developed holes in the front pockets.Taking a close look at the details, these Docker's khakhis have deep front pockets. Items like wallets, cell phones, or loose change do not fall out when sitting down. The pocket liner is the the same color khaki as the pants' main fabric. (Cheaper pants usually have thin white fabric lining the pockets, which don't look good.) The inner seams within the pants are sewn so that any loose threads are bundled underneath strips of black fabric---a nice touch.The clasp is a combination of a metal sliding "Elite" clip and traditional inner button. The double clasp should, by design, help alleviate pressure from the button taking all the dynamic forces, which in cheaper pants might cause the button to fall off prematurely. Honestly however, my button doesn't feel as secure I would expect after 9 months. The button appears to be double-sewn, but all the threads run in only in one direction. Usually, this kind main button has a second cross-stitch set of threads that are turned 90 degrees. I find the main button to be the pant's weakest feature, although the clasp alone is enough for me to secure my pants. The zipper is a bronze/copper-colored YKK zipper, and I dare say that I have never had a Dockers pants fail at the zipper. YKK zippers are top quality.In summary, I am finished buying Old Navy pants. I've had such a positive experience with Dockers that from now on Dockers will be my only kahki pants.Lastly, I wish Amazon would state the country of origin on its clothes, which I think is very important for quality reasons. My particular kahkis are made in Nicaragua. However, I recommend carefully examining the inner seams for loose threads when buying any clothing that is made in China.

I have purchased these Docker D3's for years and have enjoyed their comfort, styling and value above all. Another benefit to me, personally, is the fact that they are one of very, very few dress slacks being offered in my size (32 x 34). With the latest updates, the D3's now have a hook closure (in addition to a button on the inner side of the waistband), rather a center button only as on the previous design. I see this as a value-add feature that could prove useful should the threads holding the button ever break or unravel over time. Per Murphy's Law, this would naturally occur at work, at a wedding, a funeral ... or some other equally inconvenient moment. I feel that the hook could be a nice back-up in that instance. Additionally, the hook and button when used together probably help reduce the stress on each other. Overall, I have been happy with the durability of the pants as a whole ... although after a year of nearly daily wear and weekly laundering, the material does gradually lose it's shape and sharpness. Perhaps a professional starching and pressing would bring back the crispness. I haven't tried yet - I'm just too cheap. Besides, at this price, why not just buy a new pair?

This pant was a Christmas gift for my husband. The pant fit him perfectly except for the length was a tad bit long. This was because the length ordered was my only option. His true measurements are 32x31 but Dockers for some reason don't come in that length. Don't understand why the company jumps two inches in inseam. Not everyone is a true 32x30 or 32x32. There are a few people that fall in between. The pant itself is made well and of nice fabric. My husband liked the pant and I can see him getting many wearings from them. The only reason I'm giving them four stars instead of five is because of the length issue.

Another winner from Amazon. The thing to remember about the Dockers D3 Classic Fit is that these pants are more appropriate for the library than the country club. The fabric is thin, so I wouldn't recommend them for a cold climate. For California, they're just fine. They are also designed for casual wear, not heavy duty work wear. I wouldn't wear these to help a friend move. Overall, great product, great fit and great price make for another no-brainer delivery from Amazon. Of the 22 orders from Amazon in the past year, only one was late and Amazon felt worse about that than I did.

These turned out to be a beautiful pair of pants, that fit exactly as expected. I did order the charcoal heather, and they are very slightly darker than I had hoped for, but it turns out I like them more than a lighter gray color I had wanted. The picture on amazon for the charcoal heather is perfect to indicate the exact color. These are not casual type docker pants by the way. These are very nice dress pants. You better have wing tips for these guys. I wore them for the first time to the symphony performance the other night, and these pants are far above what most other men were wearing. But these are a very nice dress pants that is nicely priced.

My husband needed a pair of Dockers for a conference. These "khaki" style Dockers come in different colors, and he wanted black. I ordered based on a previous pair he had and the fit was exactly the same as the last pair (several years ago), so it's nice that the company is maintaining consistency in sizing. They look good. Don't buy these for your husband to wear to his job if he works at the Chippendale Dancer bar. He won't fit in. But do buy him a pair if he is a bit geekish and needs to look like he has a little style.

Great material and cut - I've had quite a few compliments, and I'm expecting these trousers to last for a long time. Fairly prompt delivery too.

I am sorry to say that being a customer of Levi Dockers trousers for such a long time that for the first time I have been very very disappointed with the product.As you can see my order clearly states that the waist size I require is 36", and the label on the trousers says 36" but the trousers are NOT. The trousers are in fact 38" which i found out lately. Unfortunately it is a bit late to lodge a complaint but at the same time I stand to lose £70.00, which is not right.I have worn the trousers only once,and I am afraid to order a second pair thinking that it will be similar to the first one.Please help?

I have worn Dockers for years and now this skimpy offering takes a month to arrive - sorry no thanks!
