Challenge
Recieved quickly as much of a challenge as the first 2.

My second in the series of three!
Love this series. Will order the last of the series next.

Good, but not 100% accessible
There were some puzzles relating to sound. This is pointless for Deaf puzzle solvers. There needs to be more hints or clues if it’s audio related. If not for this it would get 5 stars.

Alright, but a but non-sequitur at times and a bit mailed-in
I've done at least one other book in this series. It's impressive that one person came up with the entire book. But it also shows. Many of the puzzles are riffs on other puzzles in the same series. And there's a section in the middle of this one where it felt like the author really mailed it in, with a bunch of way too simplistic puzzles. My biggest gripe is that ~10 of the puzzles in here have red herrings: things that seem meaningful that were instead directly put in to mislead. In my opinion, the best puzzles are like the best stories: no extraneous information, and certainly no misleading information. But that's not the case with this book. There are many non-sequiturs, and quite a few deliberate miscues.

Make sure to look inside your book!
The media could not be loaded. Unfortunately this will have to go back. It has the Journal 29 Oblivion cover but inside is a book called Worth It: Sisters & Serendipity Book One. Hopefully this is a one off- but I wanted to give everyone a heads up to look inside before gifting this.

One of my favorite series of puzzle books
I have purchased several different types of puzzle books. And these rank high on my favorites list. I have purchased all 3 of the Journal 29 series and also the Cypher Files. In my opinion there is a great mix of difficulty levels. I admit that I struggle with many of them. So I love that there is a forum that helps you with hints.
