What a great book! I ordered for a gift for someone now I want one for myself!

This is a fantastic book. I bought a copy for myself and for my Dad. Dad looked at one photo, and said there's a picture of his Uncle William's chicken farm! I saw one of my grandfather's stores, and his house as well. Fantastic book!

I purchased this book because I am tracing my family history and they are from Pownal, Vermont. It's a great way to imagiine one's ancestors' lives and learn more about the history of a town. I love these Arcadia books and have a few of them on other towns in America.
