I rarely leave any reviews, but this simple product is just outstanding. It is soooo simple, reliable and super easy to use. No drills, no holls, anyone can install it. You just need a chair though... 100% recommend to anyone and will save to my favourites as I do manage a lot of properties and can even ask my tenants to do it themselves now. Thank you so much

The magnets are Very strong.... Good quality

Easy installation. If you can stick a postage stamp on a card these are for you. Pick the correct size! Great magnetic grip.

No more drilling, or fire alarms stuck on door frames!! Just to point out you can use on artex ceiling if you stick them onto it with Gorilla glue. Very hard to get off the alarm once stuck so probably best to stick onto new alarms not ones that are nearing replacement, you can prise them off and get new sticky pads but it’s bit tricky and the metal bends a bit. If you’re in doubt as to whether they’ll stick to your ceiling remember that if your alarm falls off it may be damaged ( like mine was !) and you’ll be buying a new alarm. Tell everyone in your house how to get the alarm down - slide sideways.

Using these magnetic discs to attach smoke alarms on the ceiling, allowing for easy removal and reattachment (Previously we've used 3M Command velcro picture hanging strips - which also work fine for this purpose). Ordered these specifically because they have 3M adhesion pads AND 3 magnets on the discs - other varieties have only two magnets and I thought that a triangular 3 formation was more stable. Also, note that these discs are 70mm in diameter. Most of the others I saw were only 50mm diameter. A couple of our smoke detectors actually have a 50mm hole in the back, which would have made these tricky to attach if they were also 50mm. However, the magnets are quite strong (especially for just supporting smoke alarms) and in hindsight, I would choose a two magnet (70mm) disc if reordering (and they're cheaper!). These magnets are too strong to pull directly down, we have to slide the smoke alarm sideways before pulling it down.

Great product and really easy to use and assemble. I have only had them up a week but they seem secure and fit for purpose. Good value for money and stop the need to drill holes in the ceiling.

I am hopeless at DIY and is a source of insecurity for me when getting to know a girl friend. I have a drill and can just about use it but fear the ramifications of drilling through a pipe or electricity wire in an old house. I therefore enthusiastically bought a couple of these for larger and heavier than average smoke detectors. A month later and the three heavy detectors are still secure on the ceiling. I suppose I could have a piece of ceiling paint that will come away when I one day take them down but I figure I will always have smoke detectors and there is no reason to move them around so I am happy with this option. The magnetic pull is very strong and I would be surprised if there are many smoke detectors out there heavier than the one model I am using. They have 10 year batteries and include voice alerts and a carbon monoxide detector. They are not your £15 single battery that needs replacing every year model. So I would be surprised if the mounts failed to keep just about every smoke detector on the market attached to the ceiling.

Ich habe eine größere Sammelbestellung von insgesamt 10 Rauchmeldern vorgenommen und wollte die günstigsten magnetischen Halterungen dazu bestellen. Wir haben bei uns Stahlbetondecken und haben bereits öfters Probleme gehabt dort Dinge zu befestigen, daher die Magnethalterung. Die Montage war sehr einfach. An die Decke gehalten, ein Kreisrundes Stück Raufasertapete entfernt und anschließend mit dem Klebepad die Metallplatte an die Decke gepappt. Die andere Seite auf die Halterung vom Brandmelder (Ei Electronics Ei650) und fertig. Die Rauchmelder halten fest und lassen sich einfach austauschen. Der Kleber haftet sehr gut.
