Awesome little thing helped me get radiator support off my car - worked great, no issues. Came with a lot of different belts.

Works great! (but loud)
This thing works great. I bought to replace a dead Dyna-file. Only gripe I have is that it is super loud! Kind of insane how loud it is. But, still works great. Recommended.

The best Tools
Over 50 years of doing automotive restoration and auto bodywork. What can I say about Ingersoll Rand, Chicago pneumatic, Viking, National Detroit, Air vintage, if you pay for the best and Amazon has the best prices, with minimal maintenance these tools will last you a lifetime. I have a 3/8 ratchet Chicago pneumatic that is over 30 years old and I use it every day.! I have a Ingersol Rand air file I’ve had for over 40 years works like new! Sometimes you have to pay to get what you want, but you’ll never regret it!

Works well. Multi position sander.
Works well. Belt wears out quickly though. Make sure you have a supply of belts to go with this.

Powerful worth every penny
Powerful run right through spot welds. Have a cheap one from harbor freight was a waste of money takes forever to get through a spot weld compared to this one and stalled easily under pressure. it’s worth spending the money on this one instead of wasting it on cheaper ones like I did

Use this thing daily, it is a work horse exactly what I expect from ingersoll.

So far it works good.
I put a little oil in it and it works perfectly. It fits nice in your hand. Better than the HarborFreight Chinese garbage.

I work as a motorcycle builder and need to smooth frame in weird places, the Ingersoll Rand belt sander is way better than the cheap harborfreight version I had, major upgrade. Recommended for professional, everyday use!

I bought the Ingersoll Rand version because typically their stuff lasts. Purchased in April, and by June the mechanism that keeps tension on the belt was already malfunctioning. The mechanism catches sometimes, but for the most part it slips and makes replacing the belts almost impossible. We have also had a tough time getting the tracking of belts to stay consistent. Would not recommend IR on this particular item. In the past their stuff has been very durable. Not the case here. Save your money.
