Important things to do first
Make sure your ARC and app are up to date. My ARC is a few years old and I had never needed nor downloaded the app. However, when I decided to add three Era 100’s I needed the app. When opening the app it said I needed to update the ARC software but the app was unable to do so. Turned out my Sonos ARC is older than the current app supports updates for. The easy solution is to go to the Sonos website and download the update from there. It worked flawlessly. The app and my Sonos ARC were synced and ready to add new components.Because many reviewers complained of having trouble connecting new components, I ordered only one Era 100 instead of the three I had intended to order, in case I had problems. Happily I can say there were no problems whatsoever.Plug in the Era 100, open the app, and the app does the rest. So I ordered two more speakers that were delivered yesterday and added them as easily as the first one. Btw, all three were added while they were plugged in to the kitchen island. I assigned a room for each but that doesn’t affect connectivity, it’s just a label. Then I moved each to its designated room, plugged it in, it found the WiFi and voila!Sound quality and build quality are excellent. Perfect size and shape to easily blend with other furnishings. The app could be better but it’s pretty good as is. The Sonos packaging is outstanding. I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend it.

Exceptional Sound and Smart Features in a Compact Design
I recently upgraded to the Sonos Era 100, and it has exceeded all my expectations. The sound quality is outstanding—crisp highs, rich mids, and surprisingly deep bass for its size. The stereo separation, thanks to the dual angled tweeters, creates a spacious listening experience even in a compact room.Setting up the speaker was a breeze using the Sonos app, and I appreciate the inclusion of both Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. This versatility allows me to stream music seamlessly from various sources. The addition of Apple AirPlay 2 is a great touch for Apple device users. The design is sleek and modern, fitting perfectly into my living space. I also value the privacy features, such as the physical microphone switch, giving me control over voice assistant usage.Overall, the Sonos Era 100 delivers premium sound, smart features, and a stylish design, making it a fantastic addition to any home audio setup.

Almost never connects. Two won’t play together simultaneously.
Prepare to be bummed out. Speaker sounds fine. BUT you won’t hear it often as you will likely just abandon trying to listen to these because they aren’t worth the trouble. This speaker connects to my phone only sometimes at best. I bought two of these to play together. I can’t get these two to play simultaneously at all. I think I achieved that once. Actually, I can hardly even get one of these to play. My sonos app won’t just recognize these again after initially setting it up, and each time I use this I have to restart it and reintroduce it to the sonos app like it’s brand new out of the box. And I can only pair one speaker at a time. Do you want just to listen to your music when you want? You can’t just do that. You have to restart the whole process of pairing them to your sonos app. Airplay works with these maybe 1 in 10 attempts. I didn’t realize Sonos speakers could sound good yet be so useless and incapable of operating. Wow, amazingly frustrating. I have the Sonos soundbar and it’s awesome, probably because it connects directly to the tv by way of hdmi cord, so there’s no connection issues. I was going to buy the Sonos era 300’s, but thank God I didn’t waste $800 on a completely unusable yet expensive product. I’m sure they sound great if you can actually play them without wanting to smash them like the printer in the movie Office Space. I won’t buy anything wireless from Sonos again. I am truly shocked, as I thought this company made quality products. These are paper weights guys. Don’t anger yourself by purchasing these. I have spent more time trying to get these to work than actually listening to them. I’m actually getting mad writing this as it’s so absurd. I’d be annoyed with this product even if they were $35. I missed the return window messing around with these so long and because of a little procrastination on my part which is my bad. How is the Sonos brand this big and so well known for speakers, yet the product is so completely useless and defective? These should be recalled. Pay another $100 and get Homepods for pete’s sake so you don’t get a blood pressure problem fooling with this nonsense.

I recommend sonos speaker
The sound is absolutely amazing! Setting it up at home was a breeze, no problems at all. Although, when I moved it to my workplace, I did have to troubleshoot the set up for a bit. But overall, I'm pleased with my purchase. It's compact and stylish, which I love.

The account setup process seems like it was sabotaged.
Before you buy, install the app on your phone and set up your account from the Sonos home page on a desktop or laptop, NOT from a phone or tablet. I'm pretty sure a disgruntled app developer disabled the account setup process for phones and tablets. Sonos hasn't fixed it yet, and this excellent speaker is a brick without a working app. I tried an Android phone and an ipad. On those devices, it'll look like you set up your account, but got the password wrong, then when you ask for a password reset, it'll tell you it sent a link. It didn't, and you'll find you never had an account to begin with. That said, the app works fine after you actually create you account, and sound quality is high enough to still get 4 stars after all that rigamarole.

Great speakers, great sound!
A friend pointed me in the direction of these Sonos speakers, after my other speakers stopped working. I must admit, I love the sound that comes out of these speakers. The music is loud and very clear. You can't go wrong with Sonos. Great speakers, great sound! Oh, and they're wireless too! Thank you!
