I have a Terratek 18V Cordless Drill, and have been scouring the internet for a replacement charger - I never understood why all chargers can't be universal.Finally, after 2 years, I found it in this item. It charges perfectly, while the fast charge accelerator that is inbuilt with the drill, had the battery charged in just under 1 hour. Easy to use, as long as you have a spare plug handy.The extended lead makes it a lot better for me to find even the remotest socket to plug it into. I would say it is at least 1.8M though I could be wrong, but it is long enough to give more flexibility and choice of where to power it. I have to say, my inquiries into a replacement by the company was a lot more in price than this one. Great value for money, functions just the same as the original, and the quality is what you would expect from a non-branded item.

Only had this a few months and not used it much but today heard it crackling. Pulled it out of the wall. Casing was quite warm but pins were red hot. Have had to throw it away. Think it might have caught fire. Waste of money and dangerous.

Advertised as a replacement for Bosch 18v devices but the output on the side of the plug clearly states that it is 23.5v output.I don't want to damage my equipment, so won't be using this charger.The manufacturer does state in the advert: Please check the DC output voltage and amps of your device or the previous power adapter.I know it is advertised as having over-voltage protection but there should be some clarification as to whether this charger is safe to use on 18v devices.
