Noble 662628 Coffee Duck for Latte/Quadrante HD7850

Brilliant. Would not have considered buying a coffee pod machine because of the ridiculous high price of pods per cup and restrictions on buying pods accepted by any one machine. The coffeeduck changed my prejudice as I can grind my own choice of beans fresh per cup at a fraction of the cost of pods. The coffeeduck option was the only reason I simultaneosly bought a Senseo HD7825 which the coffeeduck fits perfectly, replacing the pod holders supplied with machine. The coffeeduck is well made, robust, easy to fill and clean. I like strong black coffee and using the 2 shot option on the Senseo get a full mug of Americano style coffee superior to a Cafetiere and quicker. I am so impressed I have ordered a second coffeeduck so I can make two Americano's or a mug of espresso using the Senseo one shot option twice in quick succession without cleaning out and refilling first. Honestly it is quick and easy and highly recommended for the Senseo HD 7825.

I bought this for my Senseo Viva Cafe and it fits perfectly (i.e. it does indeed work for more than just the Latte models as in the description). I've never even tried the expensive pods, as this produces great coffee. My tips for using it entail 1) heating up milk in a mug in the microwave at the same time as turning on the Senseo, thus giving the machine time to warm up, and then adding coffee to the mug directly from the senseo and 2) turning off the Senseo using the central power button the moment the colour of the coffee turns from dark to pale, thus giving it a more espresso-like taste (essential if you like a lot of milk). It might be wise to then turn the Senseo back on without the coffee duck and make half a cup of hot water to flush the remaining coffee out of the system.

This is a good idea but does not quite make it. It is a bit messy even if you are ultra careful. The inner filter is not easy to remove after brewing coffee despite following the instructions which came with the item. Pressing down on the filter does not help to remove it. However, it makes good coffee and it is certainly going to make the process much cheaper then pods. Pods now not easy to obtain which is a pit really as the competition now using capsules have made them easy to get hold of. If you want to save money this item will do it if you are prepared for the inconvenience

Product had been despatched and delivered quickly and efficiently so no issues with service. Coffeeduck itself works very well, I owed it for a couple of weeks now and have not had any issues so far. Produces a good coffee with a nice froth. A little bit pricey but overall good value for money if you are to use it regularly.

Great product. I had a problem with lack of good quality flavours, I tried this and now have a bigger selection of flavours. The problem you get with the standard machine is a just warm cup of coffee. This has not helped the machines reputation. So I decided to see why. Here are my tips for getting the best out of the coffee duck. 1. Measure out 25ml off espresso ground coffee ( this is finer than filter coffee) 2. Pour into duck and compact level. 3. Put 1/3rd of a cup of milk (80ml) into the coffee mug. 4. Warm up the milk in a microwave for 40 to 50 second (depending on power of microwave). 5. Put duck into machine, put cup under spout. Press 1/2cup. 6. Press 1/2 cup again press, off button when you judge the coffee strong enough for you're taste. Down side of the duck is the cleaning. A. So put the duck with used coffee granules in to the sink to drain while you enjoy the coffee. B. Get a piece of kitchen towel and empty on to it. C. Clean all parts shaking out any excess water, allow to drain dry. D. Despose of waste coffee.

This is not how I imagined it, let down because it had been obviously sent back before and was missing the lid ( amazon?) . However in my view it wouldn't have worked even with the black lid. SO after a few months of deliberating about buying one of these, taking the plunge it has all proved a waste of time. The question is, if it had been repackaged properly would I be a happy duck user. Its a shame - but if you are like my prepared to try new ideas, that you think are too good to be true then you are bound to hit a few of these on the road!

This works really well, and makes having a perfect coffee much cheaper than using the Senseo pads. Although you don't quite get the same crema layer on top, the coffee still tastes great - we just used normal filter coffee, but I believe that if you use proper espresso coffee grinds then the crema layer will be much better. That being said, I'm more than happy with just getting a fantastic tasting, quick coffee fix! The coffeeduck is easy to empty and clean too - it even goes in the dishwasher if you're feeling particularly lazy!! All in, a great product.

The filter disk did not fit snugly into the bowl into which the coffee must be put and when inserted into the machine and the start button pressed water spurted everywhere and, when I opened the machine, it was awash with water and coffee grounds.

Coffee pad purchased for philips senseo HD7823. It fits perfectly but you have to change the handle from another pad but it's not a problem. I bought it with uncertainty that it will fit my device because what it shows in the picture is protruding and therefore this pad is deeper and the sieve is deeper. When you have a simple one, you need a pad that has a black strainer/lid on top. Pasuje idealnie ale trzeba zmienić rączkę z innej podkładki ale to żaden problem. Kupiłem go z niepewnością czy będzie pasował do mojego urządzenia bo to co widać na zdjęciu jest wystające i przez to ta podkładka jest głębsza a sitko głębsze. Kiedy masz prosty, potrzebujesz podkładki z czarnym sitkiem/pokrywką na górze. Spędziłem nad tym trochę czasu, więc wiem :D Pozdrawiam i polecam

Après des années d'utilisation de ma Senseo, je suis tombé complètement par hasard sur ce produit. Voilà, ce qui me manquais pour rendre ma senseo écologique. C'est juste parfait, facile d'utilisation, nettoyage en 2 seconde, et bonus le café est bien meilleur vu qu'on peut choisir le café qu'on y met ! Alors oui la manip prend quelques secondes de plus par rapport au système de dosette toute prête, mais vous aurez un café bien meilleur, qui vous coutera moins cher, et moins de déchets dans votre poubelle. PS : J'ai la Senseo Viva Café HD7828, et ce modèle est parfaitement compatible !

Goed: niet langer beperkt tot koffiemerken die pads voor de senseo leveren (tot nu toe nog geen goede combinatie gevonden van ecologisch en een volle smaak). Goed: het kunststof deel bevat geen BPA. Ook goed; er kan duidelijk meer koffiepoeder in dan in een standaard senseo pad. Minder enthousiast: het "crema laagje" ontbreekt. Mij is onduidelijk waardoor dit veroorzaakt wordt. Ik dacht eigenlijk dat de crema werd veroorzaakt door de bereidingswijze van het Senseo-apparaat. Dit wordt mede ingegeven door het feit dat alle merken senseo-pads ongeveer hetzelfde schuimkraagje produceren. Ik heb 2 vermoedens voor de reden: 1) de senseo-pads bevatten een soort koffie die zorgt voor het kraagje; of 2) het kraagje wordt veroorzaakt door de bereidingswijze van het senseo apparaat, en deze bereidingswijze wordt door de Coffeeduck beïnvloed. Ben benieuwd naar ervaringen van anderen (of van de leverancier).

Ich hatte mich vor einigen Wochen zu dem Kaffeeduck entschieden, da ich zu der Kategorie Kaffeejunckie zähle. Mit der Latte Select von Senseo bin ich ebenfalls sehr zufrieden, nur bei 6-10 Kaffeetassen pro Tag (insb. am Wochenende) geht das mit den Pads schon schnell ins Geld (wenn dann noch Freunde etc. kommen und mittrinken wirds entsprechend mehr). Durch den Kaffeeduck will ich insb. diese Unkosten ein wenig kompensieren. Um es vorweg zu nehmen, ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Ding. Es ist einfach und unkompliziert zu benutzen und das Kaffeeergebnis ist von meiner Seite her echt gut! Dabei verwende ich normalen Kaffee (den in den 500g Packungen) aus dem Supermarkt. Damit fülle ich den Duck dann so mit 1.5-2 Löffeln, streiche es etwas glatt und "fest", dann noch Plastiksieb obendrauf und fertig. Nach dem Betätigen des Kaffeknopfes rauscht dann der Kaffee durch und landet wie gewohnt in der Kaffeetasse - erstaunlicherweise sieht der Kaffee ähnlich cremig aus, wie der aus den Senseo-Pads. Natürlich hat der Kaffee am Ende auch eine schöne Schaumkrone. Geschmacklich macht das ganze auch einen runden Eindruck, allerdings sollte man bei der Latte Select Maschine auf Latte Macchiato verzichten, denn mit normalen Kaffee schmeckt er nicht so prall - Cappucino und und insb. Caffee Latte sind dagegen voll nach meinem Geschmack. Kurzum, der Duck ist echt empfehelenswert und das auch für normalen Kaffee - es muss also nicht die Moccamahlung etc. sein. Der Kaffee schmeckt unter Strich auch sehr gut und wenn man sich dann noch die Ersparnis vor Augen führt, trinkt man gerne die ein oder andere Tasse mehr. Also mein Kaffeegenuss ist damit dann doch spürbar weiter gestiegen, es schmeckt aber auch lecker!

Funciona la perfección con las Senseo de Phillips. Tan fácil como verter el café que más te guste dentro del accesorio, y cerrar la tapa con el filtro que lo compone. Una vez lo tienes lo metes en la cafetera y prepárate a disfrutar un café sin aditivos. Además, encaja perfectamente en la estantería propia de Senseo para guardar estos accesorios.
