This dutch oven is fabulous. Heavy, maintains temp. Easy clean. Roast a perfect chicken. I love it.

I love this pot. I make sourdough bread in mine and it is a perfect size. I do loaves with 325g water, 125g starter, 500g flour, and 10g salt and my loaves almost entirely fill this 7 quart pan, but never get squished by the size. It heats well, the enamel coating is wonderful, and my bread only sticks if there's cheese or sugar in the dough. But even then, a light scrape with a spatula or wooden spoon and it comes off easily, without ruining the bread. Cleaning it is also not too difficult. I have a gas oven, so sometimes the gas leaves residue, but a sponge and some pink stuff (cleaner) and it's sparkles like new! It's heavy, durable, and is my favorite cast iron (I have 4).

We have 4 different types of Dutch ovens - including a $400 12 quart model. Sometimes round Dutch Ovens are limited in the amount of things you can put around the meat in the middle. So we decided to try this oval shaped Dutch Oven. Our commercial stove has a center burner that is long and wide, which fit perfectly under this Dutch Oven. We tried it for the first time today, making a British Guinness Stew & Dumplings and it performed perfectly. I was expecting it to be hard to clean because of the amount of floured beef we fried, but it was clean in two minutes! The heat distribution with the cast iron is top-notch. We purchased the Blue color and it is gorgeous - looks great on our kitchen shelves. Be warned it is heavy, but what would you expect from cast iron. I would give this Dutch Oven 6 stars if I could, as it was perfect in every way - beautiful, cooks perfectly and easy to clean. Crock Pot outdid themselves when they made this. Definitely recommend...

This pot is visually striking! It’s just beautiful. The light colored interior is a plus for me because I am visually impaired so I can better gauge my cooking progress. The oval shape allows me to prepare soups, stews and bake bread in a loaf configuration. Also I get the benefits of cast iron without the care and maintenance of my traditional cast iron and carbon steel pans. And did I mention-it’s just pretty! It dresses up my kitchen a little. I really really wanted the purplish color-forget the name-but I saw this and loved it! I have not used it yet. Ha! That’s right. But I have others so I’m not just whistling Dixie OK? These cook amazingly well. Hold and distribute heat well. They clean up well but over time they do tend to stain and the enamel surface will chip on the exterior but won’t affect the cooking but they all do it-even the more expensive ones-not naming any names here but just saying. Now I’m not an authority on this, just sharing my more than 🧸 years of cooking experience. And if this particular item proves me wrong I’ll be back for a correction.

Certainly OK. Excellent for the price and easier to pick up than the Staub I love since it is lighter. I like it, use it. and it is a wonderful value. It's just not Staub or Le Creuset quality...

This is such a lovely crock pot you don't want to get it dirty cooking it LOL. It's very sturdy the color is gorgeous. I have one just like it in a different color. I bought this for my son as a gift for Christmas so he won't use those awful cheap pans you get a the grocery store. Would definitely recommend. UPDATE - he opened his gift and the handle and pot were cracked, probably in shipment. I didn't take it out of the box to wrap for Christmas. Arranged to have a replacement sent...it arrived a few days ago and all is good.

This is a beast of a pan. REALLY heavy with a large pot roast and all the vegetables, it's all I can do to lift it out of the oven, but does a beautiful job. We made a bread in it and it worked wonderfully. Cooks and cleans great.

This is a quality enameled cast iron pot which works flawlessly on our induction range. The heat is distributed evenly in this cast iron pot, it keeps cooking times to a minimum, excellent for slow cooking. And cleaning this pot is a breeze. This is a heavy pot so care is needed if your range has a glass or ceramic top. It also works great in the oven. It can be washed in the dishwasher, but I would recommend hand washing. Great product at a great price.
