FULL repair kit Cables & Rollers (Nuts) garage door spares parts To Suit Henderson pre-premier Canopy

One of the cables on my 1980s henderson garage door snapped and I used this kit to change it and it all worked very well. Note that when you change one cable you should change the other as well as they stretch over time and that is what I did. The instructions in this kit suggest you take the spring down from the top of the door; whilst that might sound daunting, it is straightforward in reality. I didn't have any choice in the matter anyway as the gap between the cable spools and the side of the garage was too narrow to do this in situ anyway. I also changed the rollers over to use the new ones supplied in the kit. The only issue I had was getting the e-clips on - they were too tight to push on with pliers and i ended up filing down the clips slightly to get them on (see the picture for an example of what I mean, there is a e-clip on the inside of the door bracket as well). The cable spools that came in my pack were black, not the red and white ones shown in the image, but worked fine. The 4mm punch for getting the pins out is nice quality and looks like it will last a long time. All in all a very comprehensive kit at an excellent price!

One of the cables had snapped on my 1986 Henderson garage door. This kit contained the replacement cables and special tools I needed to replace it. It's not a straightforward job to do; you need to be a good DIYer. The instructions are not very clear, but better-illustrated instructions are available on the internet. Additionally, check out the videos available online. Overall, a good quality kit and excellent value.

This product is a 50/50 item. As a plus the split pins, pin drift, two rods for tightening, cones and cables are very good and fit the door well. However, depending on the type of door, the crook pins, allen key and rollers for each side of the door don't fit. So buy with care. Overall the price of the kit is excellent.
