Very sturdy & good fit even with a screen protector.

Good looking case. Seems sturdy. Unfortunately it doesn't fit completely around the iPad, leaving the frame on one side partially exposed (the side with the pencil holder). On Amazon's recommendation I called UAG's customer support line which of course is simply a series of recordings that instruct the customer to send a written request or leave a number for texting (so why do they have a customer support number?). Sent my request along with a description of the problem and a picture. They reply by email saying that they need more info as in:"Before we can process your warranty claim, please reply with the following: -Two pictures (different angles, front, and back) of your case. In each picture, please include a sheet of paper with ticket number # 690438, a case device (iPhone 8, Galaxy S8, etc.), and case color. -Proof of purchase (picture of receipt or invoice) and the name of the reseller the product was purchased from. In addition, please include your full name and shipping address...."Like so many companies today, UAG doesn't want to talk. No way to just ask them a question such as, "Is my case defective, is it not intended to wrap all the way around or would a replacement likely not have that flaw.?"Would like to have been able to make this work. Looks otherwise like a good case. Absent UAG's willingness to just answer a question, it's much, much easier to just return the product and move on to another vendor.

Pretty sweet, works good

I’ve always liked UAG cases, this one has a pretty stiff cover that doubles as a kickstand. Other companies kickstands just don’t hold and will fall over constantly, this is not the problem of this case. Well worth it, the cutouts for the power and volume buttons are great and provide enough room to work them without knocking the side of the case.

The case molding around finderprint sensor limits access for finger, specifically on the screen side of sensor. This means 95% of time my finder print does't read and I have to manually enter unlock password. I'm considering trimming the UAG molding in this area but don't want to compromise integrity of case. I'm also conflicted with the shortcoming in design and build, UAG designers and testers should have discovered this flaw and fixed it. To fix myself or return and source another product this is the question I currently face ?
