I live in an area prone to earthquakes and was looking for an affordable lightweight product to hang my pictures on the wall. This product works for that but the plastic is not 100% clear and has a bit of a distortion affect. It's minor but enough to annoy me. I think most people won't notice.

I have tried many variations over the years, and these are the perfect blend of quality and value! Some I have ordered have a blue tint, and some I have ordered (from other brands) are so flimsy, they are practically unusable. I have purchased these on repeat. If you are reading this review, it means you want it and need to buy some now! They are so versatile that I use them for many projects. I was looking for something to hold construction paper to display kids’ art and these are perfect. Very sturdy and easy to change out artwork. There is a thin plastic film on both sides. Be sure to peel that off when using.

These sheet protectors are NOT clear -- they have a frosted, hazy appearance. Yes, you can still read the documents, but if you're looking for crystal-clear appearance, these are not what you're looking for. Also, there is a STRONG chemical smell when you first open the package. We're trying to let them "air out," and we'll see how it goes.

UPDATE: The seller contacted me promptly after I posted my review and apologized and sent a another set out right away. The second set was fine. Great customer service.6 out of 10 were stuck shut or the tops were not sealed on the sides. When you try to separate them they break or leave white spots where they were stuck. Out of the pack of ten, I was able to use 4. I don't have time to return them and reorder so I will just laminate them.
